Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (15 km or 6.5 hours)
Y Linh Ho - The journey begins at 9 am. A local guide will greet participants at their hotel in Sapa Town or in front of the main local church. Following a brief introduction, the tour proceeds 2km down Cat Cat’s road, a renowned village of the Hmong minority. From there, travelers will reach the hanging bridge over the Muong Hoa river and continue uphill into the mountains, passing through a bamboo forest.
The tour then descends to Y Linh Ho village, where lunch will be served at a small, traditional restaurant operated by a local Hmong family.
Lao Chải - Participants will have the opportunity to admire some of Vietnam’s largest and most stunning rice terraces and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views atop Hoang Lien mountain.
Ta Van Village - After a break, the tour continues to Ta Van, a village of the renowned Giay minority, where a local host family will extend a warm welcome. There will be time to relax, enjoy a hot shower, and prepare for dinner. Participants can also join an informal cooking class if they wish!
Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (12km around 5 hours)
Giang Ta Chai Village - Start the day with a hot coffee or tea while exploring the homestay’s surroundings and nearby rice fields. After breakfast, the tour ascends into the mountains to the waterfalls of Giang Ta Chai. Entering the Red Dao area, the local guide will provide insights into their culture and daily life. After a brief visit to a Red Dao family, the tour returns to the waterfalls via an alternative trail and crosses a second hanging bridge. Lunch will be enjoyed in Giang Ta Chai village at a small, local restaurant run by a Hmong family. After the meal, a bus will be ready to transport participants back to Sapa Town.
