- Notre Dame Cathedral - This personalized trek begins in Sapa at 9:00 am. The initial stop on the journey is a small mountain offering a view of Fansipan peak. The trek then continues through the picturesque Muong Hoa valley. The path winds through a breathtaking landscape with magnificent views of mountains and rice paddies stretching as far as the eye can see. These views are occasionally interrupted by rivers, local homes, or farmers tending to their fields.
At 11:00 am, the group will reach Y Linh Ho, a quaint village inhabited by the Hmong minority. Here, a bridge will be crossed over the beautiful river below. From this point, the hiking trails lead to Lao Chai Sang, where a lunch break is scheduled. The walk passes through endless rice fields under the shadow of towering mountains. Arrival at Lao Chai Sang village is at 12:30 pm for lunch at a local Hmong family’s home, where participants can savor the delightful flavors of various local dishes. After lunch, the trek continues to Lao Chai, where visitors are likely to observe people working in the rice fields, either planting or harvesting, depending on the season. After an additional one and a half hour walk from Lao Chai village (2 pm), participants will have a unique opportunity to learn about local culture, daily life, and the traditional clothing-making of the Hmong people.
