Night 1: Hanoi - Sapa (300km)
Sapa - The guidance service will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi between 6:30 and 7:00 am and take you to the bus stop to board your luxury day bus to Sapa. Night 1: Hanoi - Sapa (300km)
Sapa - The guidance service will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi between 6:30 and 7:00 am and take you to the bus stop to board your luxury day bus to Sapa. The bus departs at 7:00 am, and after a few stops along the way, you will arrive in Sapa town around 12:30 pm. From the bus stop, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to your 3-star hotel. Please refer to your voucher for address details. If you prefer a taxi, visit the bus company’s office to request one. The fare should not exceed $2. After checking in, you can explore Sapa at your leisure. The rest of the day and evening are yours to enjoy.
Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van Villages
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Enjoy breakfast with breathtaking views over Sapa town and the Muong Hoa valley. At approximately 8:30 am, your local Hmong tour guide will meet you at your hotel to begin your trekking adventure. Upon request, your luggage can be transported to the homestay in Ta Van. The trek starts with a visit to the local market before embarking on a fantastic journey to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van, nestled in the Muong Hoa valley.
During the 15 km walk, you will visit three villages of ethnic communities. Enjoy the stunning views of the beautiful valley leading towards Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. The trek passes through the village of Black Hmong people, where you can learn about their weaving and embroidery skills. Further along, enjoy the vibrant rice paddy fields until reaching Ta Van village, home to the Dzay people.
Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa - Ha Giang
Ta Van Village - After breakfast and check-out, we leave Ta Van and continue our trek to visit the Red Dao people in Giang Ta Chai village. The route offers stunning scenery and a charming waterfall. As their name suggests, red is prominently featured in the Red Dao women’s clothing and scarves.
The journey follows small paths along the rice fields, crossing the Muong Hoa River, with lunch at a fantastic spot along the way. We return to Ta Van after our second amazing trek in the early afternoon, where you can enjoy a refreshing shower and some free time before heading back to Sapa.
Around 2:00 pm, we bid you farewell and transfer you back to Sapa. From there, your luxury AC bus will take you to Ha Giang at either 4:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Expected arrival time is 10:30 pm or 1:30 am. The bus will stop at your host’s location for an overnight stay.
Ha Giang - Heaven Gate - Quan Ba Pass - Yen Minh - Vuong Palace - Dong Van
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - You will arrive early, but your host is ready to welcome you and offer a place to rest. After breakfast, we begin your first riding day, covering approximately 155 km. During the trip, you will encounter many Hmong people and observe their daily lives up close.
There will be ample time to stop at beautiful locations for photos or to simply enjoy the landscape. The first point of interest is The Heaven’s Gate, often shrouded in clouds at a height of 1500m, offering an amazing view! In Quan Ba, you can see the famous twin mountains. Afterward, enjoy a local lunch at a small restaurant in Yen Minh. We continue our journey, stopping around 15 km west of Dong Van to visit the Vuong (King’s) Palace, built by the Hmong people for their King.
We reach Dong Van around 5:00 pm, where we will check into the guesthouse or homestay and have dinner at a local restaurant. Dong Van is a peaceful village, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Du Gia Village
Meo Vac - After breakfast, continue your motorbike adventure through this stunning part of Vietnam via the Dong Van Geo Park. The views are among Vietnam’s finest. The Ma Pi Leng Pass is considered the “king” of Vietnam’s passes. From the top of this pass begins a 20 km long happiness road, handcrafted by the local people, exuding a romantic atmosphere.
In Meo Vac, you will witness one of the country’s most beautiful landscapes. We proceed to Mau Due and Du Gia, where you can admire the beautiful terraced rice fields and local life. Lunch will be in Du Gia, in an area inhabited by ethnic Tay families, and if time permits, you can enjoy a refreshing swim at the waterfalls of Du Gia Village. Overnight accommodation will be at the guesthouse or homestay, where dinner will be served later in the evening.
Du Gia - Du Gia Waterfall - Duong Thuong - Lung Tam Villages - Ha Giang - Hanoi
Du Gia - After breakfast, we resume riding through more breathtaking scenery and numerous small villages. Lunch will be en route before arriving back in Ha Giang. Here, you can take a quick refreshing shower before the 16-seat limousine bus picks you up around 4:00 pm for the 6-hour journey back to Hanoi, where the trip concludes.
Estimated arrival time is between 9:30 and 10:00 pm. From the limousine bus stop, it’s either a short walk or taxi ride to your accommodation in the Old Quarter. Alternatively, ongoing bus services to Ninh Binh and Cat Ba can be arranged!
