Great experience walking through rice fields and villages and getting to know different cultures - It is a great possibility to get to know the villages and rice fields and bamboo forests in the area and learn more about the different cultures. After lunch of the second day you hardly meet any tourists as most do the 2D/1N. Zhu was a wonderful guide throughout the 4 days and knows the little paths where fewer people walk and also made the homestays a smooth experience as not every host speaks fluent English. The distances covered were a bit shorter, but considering that it got hotter every day, I did not mind.

If you like trekking, must trip this! - Zhu, our guide, has been ensuring that our trek is enjoyable throughout the 4D3N. Weather was rainy from time to time, but the experience is nothing but unforgettable. Great trip, great trek, picturesque view, attentive guide and loads of new experiences e.g. homestays and learning about local cultures.

Hiking 4 days 3 nights - We spent 4 days and 3 nights with our guide. The hike was adapted to allow us to do more distances and elevation gain than expected, which we particularly appreciated. The accommodation was well chosen at home and the food very good every night.

Great local tour - We loved our 4D3N trek through beautiful scenery and interesting remote villages. Exploring the rice fields, bamboo forests and farmland was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Zhu had great knowledge of the area and brought us through paths we never would have found on our own. We loved spending time with the families in the homestays each evening, learning about their culture and sharing meals with them. The food provided far exceeded our expectations and each meal was delicious! Thank you Zhu and the rest of the trekking tour SaPa team!

Challenging, rewarding, beautiful, unique. - This was exactly the trekking experience I was hoping for. Through rice terraces, bamboo forests, mountain passes, staying at delightful homesteads. The trek was designed by our guide Zhu, taking us along tracks off the beaten track. Highly recommended.

2 day - 1 night Trek Review - We did a 2 day / 1 night trek and it was amazing! Our guide (Chau) was so friendly and nice and was full of knowledge and answered all of our many questions about the animals, tribes, rice fields etc. The trek was a bit of a challenge but definitely worth it, a once in a lifetime experience! Any photos you've ever seen don't do justice. You need to book this tour and see for yourself, you will be in awe! The food was also very good, you won't go hungry I promise. This is our favourite experience in Vietnam so far. :) :)

Super experience in Sapa - I can recommend this tour 100%. We had it all: Adventure, beautiful views, nice homestays, good food and especially in Su a wonderful guide. She answered all questions and was always helpful. With her positive and humorous nature she has made the tour very special. Those who bring enough time should definitely book this tour with 4D/3N.

4 day trek in Sapa - We did the 4 day trek and had a mixed experience. The first day was awesome and I would definitely recommend the one night and two day tour of this area. After the first night the home stays become very rustic and uncomfortable. Our last night the room was a tiny cement room with no ventilation and was so hot we couldn’t sleep. Had no windows and we couldn’t leave door open to air out room as when we did a huge spider came into room (8 inches long) so we kept door shut. The room was dirty as well, food very basic. We got to spend time with two other guides on our first home stay ((Sun and Su Su) where we learned more things than our 4 days with our guide. Our guide Li was super nice and warm person but we didn’t learn much about the different cultures which is why we went. Just needs to train and study more and work on English skills and she will become a great guide. Lastly, the 4 day Trek has many, many hours of walking on the streets with scooters buzzing you, dogs barking, and trash. I know that’s what life is like in the villages, but when I think trek I think of nature. Route felt contrived to be able to fill 3.25 days. We took the non -Touristy route thinking it would be more nature.
