- Thac Bac Waterfall (Silver Falls) - Unlike other tourist spots in Sapa, Thac Bac Waterfall is situated 12 kilometers from Sapa’s center, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Although reaching the waterfall may take some time, the journey is undoubtedly rewarding.
On the way to Thac Bac Waterfall, the diverse and vibrant beauty of Sapa is easily noticeable. One side of the road features mountains with expansive pine forests, rubber plantations, and various other plants. On the opposite side, endless fields stretch out. These stunning landscapes in Sapa are serene and soothing, as if untouched by human presence. The tranquil path will leave you feeling relaxed and calmer than ever.
- Love Waterfall - Situated about 14 km southwest of Sapa town, Love Waterfall is located in San Sa Ho Commune, Sapa district, Lao Cai province. The waterfall serves as the starting point for climbing trips to Fansipan peak. During your journey to the peak, you can stop by the waterfall to unwind and recharge for the next adventure.
- Tram Ton Pass - Tram Ton Pass lies on the route between Sapa and Lai Chau. Even if you don’t plan to travel to Lai Chau or further northwest, it’s worth visiting the top of Tram Ton Pass for the breathtaking view. From the viewpoint, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Fansipan across the valley with lush forests. The view is particularly stunning on clear days, with the best photo opportunities at sunset or dawn. At the lookout point, you’ll find wooden structures precariously perched on the edge, selling souvenirs and food.
- Ta Phin Village - Begin your trek from here. The trek, approximately 4 hours and 15 kilometers (9.3 miles), takes you along mountain trails and through remote tribal villages. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding rice paddies and capture plenty of photos while learning about the unique cultures of the Hmong and Red Dzao people.
Pause for a picnic lunch before continuing the trek to the Red Dzao tribe’s home in Ta Phin Village. In the afternoon, meet the driver for a 30-minute transfer back to Sapa.
