Amazing trekking tour from Sapa through villages and mountains - Amazing tour with Nhu. She was so friendly and told us so many interesting facts. We kept away from the big groups so walking through the mountains and rice fields was serene. Fantastic tour and very well run, highly recommend.

Excellent day with a knowledgeable guide - We had a fabulous trek with our guide Nhu. We were the only ones on the tour and asked her to take us off the beaten track which she did. We enjoyed seeing the rice fields, hearing about her way of life, exploring smaller villages and ended the day at the once a year Nes Year festival which was something to experience! Nhu is an excellent guide - knowledgeable, kind and worked hard to ensure we had a great, safe experience. Thank you Nhu!

Despite the inclement weather… - My better half booked it on Viator, which now doesn’t allow to post a review for some weird reason. Too bad, I trust this was a great day to spend despite the uncooperative winter weather… It was a group tour, but our group ended up being the only people on this tour on this day, so it was a private one, if fact, where we could feel more freedom to deviate from the set itinerary. We thoroughly enjoyed the trek through the mountains and valley with our Black Hmong guide Sinh who was telling us everything we wanted to know about the nature, landscape, people and life in Sapa and area, mountains and valleys, and a lot of other fun facts in good English. He led us through the picturesque views and showed vantage points to take the best pictures, including from his drone (this was a pleasant surprise) following us, told us about his family, showed his house, took our photos, and waited patiently for us on steep slopes. We were lucky with the weather, but most of it was due to his knowledge of weather and wind patterns: we merely followed his advice in choosing the details of our itinerary, which was a bit customized based on our preferences, stamina and time limitations. This was especially valuable for us, since the day before we faced blistering cold and disappointing zero visibility at Fansipan. Though some 'traditional houses' we planned to visit in the village were closed for some reason, Sinh managed to show us several other sites, with samples of traditional activities back in time and nowadays. Lunch was abundant, local tea including, and the lunch place was in a picturesque location. In a hindsight, we should have bought something there in the village, as prices were probably better, but the assortment looked the same as everywhere in Sapa, and we didn't have a lot of extra room and were rather tired after a full day of hiking. Definitely and highly recommended.

Awesome hike, gorgeous views, amazing guide! - My wife and I had the pleasure of going on a tour of the mountains around Sapa, rice terraces, and into some of the local villages with Nhu as our guide. She was happy and bubbly throughout our whole hike. She’s part of the local Hmong tribe and gave us a good understanding of what it’s like to live in her village and of the local nature throughout the mountains. She’s truly a lovely person and it was a beautiful clear day for our hike along some gorgeous views. I’d highly recommend requesting Nhu as your guide. She’s still learning to expand her English speaking skills, but she’s only learned from tours and talking with tourists as she grew up, no professional training. It was amazing how well she could communicate with us knowing that. She made our Sapa visit all the more special. My wife’s knee really started bothering her on the way down and Nhu was very patient and attentive to her needs.

Great way to get your exercise in beautiful scenery - My wife and I did the trek with Nhu as our guide. We had a great hike. Nhu provided a lot of good information for us on the hike. We are a couple in our 50s. Nhu was happy to slow down or take a break when she could tell we needed one. Lunch was at a small restaurant in a mountain village. The food was good and the portions were big. I highly recommend the hike. It was challenging, scenic and educational.

Excellent day in Sapa - Excellent trail, beautiful nature, incredible views, and our guide Nhu, a local H'Mong guide, told us about life there and about her family. We were able to try traditional food, which was delicious, including rice from the Sapa terraces. Thank you so much for a great day.

Stunning view of the mountain in an unique experience - Nhu was our lovely guide, she took us to her village and was very knowledgeable despite her young age. She took us to a non touristy trek which was very nice and shared a lot of her family and community life with us. The experience was very unique and beautiful. Thanks Nhu

Fun experience! Make sure to be in shape! - Tons of great views and great points to take pictures! This is a whole day of hiking step inclines and uneven surfaces. Approximately 6-7 hours of straight hiking. There are stops along the way but make sure you are in good shape physically or there’s no way you will be able to do this tour! The rice fields at the end were very Beutuful from the mountain above! That was worth it in itself. This was at the end of the tour on the way down the mountain. The Lunch was amazing and plenty of food!
