Sin Chai Village - Next, embark on a trek to Sin Chai village, home to over 60 Black H’mong families. Immerse in the natural beauty, including flowers, vegetable farms, medicinal plants, and stunning rice terraces. Walk along the path to Sin Chai village and learn about the Black H’mong people who migrated to these mountains centuries ago. Their distinct cultures, languages, and lifestyles are fascinating. Visit a primary school and an authentic H’mong house, then return to town.
Sapa - Bac Ha
Bản Khoang - 8:00 AM: Depart from Sapa towards Silver Waterfall. Take a less touristic road to the secluded uphill Ban Khoang village. Today, venture off the beaten path on a new 12 km trail, featuring both uphill and downhill sections, to explore the primitive culture of the Red Dao, known for having the most beautiful attire in Sapa.
Ta Phin Village - After a picnic lunch (or an early lunch at a local restaurant) in the village, follow a small hill path and trek through the corn farm to a rainforest with stunning views of rice terraces. During the season, local people and buffaloes may be seen working in the fields. Stop to visit orchid gardens that meet the demands of even the largest cities for New Year decorations. As you approach Ta Phin village, be warmly welcomed by the villagers. Explore the unique culture and daily life of the Red Dao people who migrated to this mountain from China, and enjoy a special traditional herbal bath.
Bac Ha - Be picked up by the driver and transferred to Bac Ha. Situated at an altitude of 1000m, Bac Ha is home to several ethnic groups, including the colorful Hmong, Phu La, and Tay. The Bac Ha region is renowned for its weekly, colorful markets, surrounded by wild and beautiful scenery. These markets serve as centers for trading goods and cultural exchange among the ethnic groups for centuries.
Bac Ha - Hanoi
Bac Ha Market - 7:00 AM: Begin exploring Bac Ha by visiting a vibrant ethnic market (Bac Ha Market on Sundays, Coc Ly Market on Tuesdays, Sin Cheng Market on Wednesdays, Lung Phinh Market on Fridays, or Can Cau Market on Saturdays). Immerse in the lively atmosphere, with a variety of goods such as vegetables, clothing, and poultry, while admiring the colorful attire of the local ethnic groups.
Please note that the market is most lively early in the morning and begins to wind down by 10:00 AM. To fully experience it, it’s best to arrive early.
