Sapa - Tavan - Seomity
Muong Hoa Valley - At the scheduled departure time, a local tour guide and driver will warmly welcome and pick you up from your hotel lobby.
You will then be driven to Muong Hoa, where your trekking adventure begins.
Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking views of the expansive rice terraces in Muong Hoa Valley, the largest in Sapa. Keep your camera ready to capture these stunning scenes. Your trek will commence from Tavan village, home to the Giay ethnic minority. The first day’s trek is mostly uphill, offering an adventurous experience amidst the beautiful natural landscape. During breaks, enjoy the magnificent valley views.
A delightful picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot.
Sapa - After lunch, the afternoon program begins. The trekking path becomes easier, yet the scenery grows even more spectacular. You will visit Seomity village, where the Black Hmong ethnic group resides. Spend time exploring the village and observing their daily life. Later, proceed to the campsite by the riverbank, just outside the village, where you will spend the night in tents.
Seomity – Den Thang - Ta Trung Ho
Sapa - On the second day, the journey continues through picturesque rice fields and across old suspension bridges.
From Seomity village, embark on a trek along a narrow trail through a rainforest.
By noon, you will reach Den Thang village, inhabited by the Black Hmong people, where you will pause for lunch. Choose a lunch spot by the river or at a local school, depending on the weather.
After lunch and a brief rest, continue trekking on a more challenging path. Stay alert to ensure safety.
Arrive at Ta Trung Ho village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority. Spend time exploring the village, interacting with the locals, and enjoying their warm hospitality overnight.
Ta Trung Ho – Nam Toong – Muong Bo
Sapa - On day 3, enjoy an early breakfast at Ta Trung Ho village before embarking on another trekking adventure. Begin at the edge of the rainforest near the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Notably, Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina” at 3,140 meters, is located here.
Trek uphill to Nam Toong village, where the Red Dao ethnic group resides. The locals will guide you around the village. Lunch will be served at a local school.
Sapa - After lunch, continue the afternoon trek downhill to the valley, home to the Xa Pho minority’s My Son village, one of Northern Vietnam’s smallest ethnic groups.
Departing this village, proceed to Muong Bo village, inhabited by the Tay ethnic people. Spend the night in a traditional Tay house, explore the village, observe local activities, and savor a delicious meal featuring typical Vietnamese dishes.
The day 3 program concludes.
Muong Bo - Nam Cum – Sin Chai
Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - After breakfast, depart Muong Bo village for Nam Cum.
Follow a trail at the valley’s base, enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Find a pleasant spot to stop for lunch.
After lunch, begin the afternoon program by walking to Sin Chai village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority.
Upon arrival, spend time exploring the village, participating in, and learning about the locals’ daily activities.
Sin Chai – Nam Nhiu – Nam Than – Nam Sai
Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - This trekking route leads through small hill tribe villages inhabited by ethnic minorities such as the Red Dao, Tay, Xa Pho, and Black Hmong.
Along the way, enjoy the stunning scenery of Nam Sai and Nam Cang valleys. Visiting these hill tribe villages offers insights into the traditions and customs of Sapa’s ethnic minorities.
The second day’s journey concludes at Nam Sai village, home to the Tay people. Check into a homestay, rest briefly, and enjoy a leisurely walk around this peaceful and charming village.
Nam Sai – Nam Sang – Thanh Phu bridge – Sapa
Sapa - Trek downhill to Nam Sang village, where the Xa Pho ethnic minority resides.
Experience the locals’ daily activities by visiting local families. The Xa Pho ethnic group, a subgroup of the Phu La, is one of Sapa’s smallest, with a population of about 4,000.
Leaving Nam Sang, continue along trails winding through the mountains to reach Thanh Phu village.
Upon arrival at Thanh Phu Bridge, a car will take you back to Sapa.
