Sapa - Tavan - Seomity
Muong Hoa Valley - Be captivated by the breathtaking views of the expansive rice terraces in Muong Hoa Valley, the largest in Sapa. Keep your camera ready to capture these stunning scenes. Begin your trek from Tavan village, home to the Giay ethnic minority. The first day’s trek is mostly uphill, offering an adventurous journey through the beautiful natural landscape. During breaks, enjoy the magnificent views of the valley.
After lunch, embark on the afternoon program. The trek becomes easier, yet the scenery grows even more spectacular. Visit Seomity village, where the Black Hmong ethnic people reside. Spend time exploring the village and observing their daily activities. Then, proceed to the campsite by the riverbank outside the village, where you’ll spend the night in tents.
Seomity – Den Thang - Ta Trung Ho
Sapa - From Seomity village, begin trekking along a small trail through a rainforest.
By noon, reach Den Thang village, inhabited by Black Hmong people, and pause for lunch. Choose a lunch spot by the river or at a local school, depending on the weather.
After lunch and a brief rest, continue trekking on a more challenging path. Stay attentive to ensure safety.
Arrive at Ta Trung Ho village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority. Spend time exploring the village, interacting with the locals, and enjoying their warm hospitality overnight.
Ta Trung Ho - Nam Toong – Thanh Phu
Sapa - On day 3, enjoy an early breakfast at Ta Trung Ho village before embarking on another trekking adventure. Start from the edge of the rainforest near the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, where Fansipan, the “roof of Indochina” at 3140m, is located.
Trek uphill to Nam Toong village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority. Locals will guide you around the village. Lunch will be served at a local school.
Sapa - After lunch, continue the afternoon trek downhill to the valley where the My Son village of the Xa Pho minority is located, one of Northern Vietnam’s smallest ethnic groups.
Proceed to Thanh Phu village, inhabited by the Tay ethnic people. Spend the night in a traditional Tay house, explore the village, observe daily activities, and enjoy a meal of delicious Vietnamese dishes.
Thanh Phu - Nam Cum – Sin Chai
Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - Follow a trail at the valley’s base, enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Find a pleasant spot for lunch.
After lunch, begin the afternoon program by walking to Sin Chai village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority.
Upon arrival, explore the village, participate in, and learn about the locals’ daily activities.
Sin Chai - Nam Ket –Ben Den – Lao Cai
Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty of mountains, bamboo forests, and jungles, and interact with curious local children. Most residents are from the Red Dao ethnic minority.
Stop at Nam Ket for lunch.
After lunch and a short rest, trek downhill for half an hour to reach a lush valley along the Red River. Enjoy the stunning natural landscape and keep your camera ready for beautiful photos.
Finally, arrive at Ta Thang village, home to the Tay ethnic minority. A driver will welcome you and take you back to Lao Cai station, where you’ll catch a train back to Hanoi, concluding the tour.
Note: The trek is challenging. The itinerary may change due to high water levels in the river between Seomity and Ta Trung Ho.
