This is the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, featuring tombs of notable figures such as the great Pharaoh Ramses II and the young Pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were filled with all the material goods a ruler might need in the afterlife. Most of the decorations inside the tombs remain well-preserved.

• Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Hatshepsut Temple:

This temple is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved of all the temples of Ancient Egypt. It was constructed on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position connecting the levels.

• Colossi of Memnon - Colossi of Memnon:
  Two enormous stone statues of King Amenhotep III are the only remnants of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are crafted from blocks of quartzite sandstone that originated in Cairo and were transported 700 KM to Luxor.

• Temple of Karnak - Karnak Temples:
  No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever constructed by man, representing the combined achievements of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak consists of three main temples situated on 247 acres of land.
