Excursion to Mount Sinai and St. Catherine's Monastery - It's a fairly challenging hike. It starts at 7.30 pm from Sharm by bus. And you arrive at the monastery of St. Catherine at 1 am, after numerous police checks along the way. From the parking lot the path begins on foot, for about three hours you walk first on a mule track and then the steps begin. About 750. It is necessary to have a minimum of training and hiking equipment; A good pair of boots a headlamp clothes also suitable for the cold, at the summit we are about 2300 meters above sea level and at night it is cold. There are numerous bivouacs along the way with drinks and food sales. The last one also rents blankets. My advice is to rent one because the wind on the top of the mountain is very cold. The sunrise is very beautiful and as soon as the sun rises temperatures rise a lot. There were two guides one assisted us along the bus ride and the visit of the monastery. The other during the trek to Mount Sinai Both professional nice and kind. They spoke decent Italian. A little advice, you could spend a little more time visiting the monastery. The hike was very nice and this is the second time I climb Mount Sinai the first was in March 27 years ago and unfortunately I could not attend the sunrise because it was snowing!

Kesinlikle muhteşem✨✨✨✨ - One word: incredible! ✨ Truly an unforgettable experience that I would definitely recommend. The climb was challenging, but the view at the summit was worth every step. If you don’t have any physical limitations and you enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures, this is a must-do. Be prepared though — the half hour to an hour before sunrise is very cold, so layer up! During the climb, the weather is warm, and once the sun rises, it gets quite hot on the way down. Comfortable hiking shoes are a must. There are stops along the way with food and drinks, but I’d still suggest bringing your own snacks and water. We completed the journey with an amazing team, full of unity and support 🥰 A huge thank you to our guides for making it so special. Our group was called Ramses — and honestly, I’ve never felt happier to belong to a group! 😉☺️❤️
