• Saint Catherine’s Monastery - Guests will be picked up in the evening to begin the ascent of Mount Sinai, which starts at night and involves climbing approximately 750 steps to reach the summit. This journey takes about 4 hours. Upon reaching the top, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking sunrise view. The descent towards St. Catherine Monastery takes about 2-3 hours. A 2-hour tour of the monastery will follow, where visitors can explore its rich religious and historical significance. The monastery features an eleventh-century mosque and an Orthodox Greek monastery, resembling a unique citadel. Inside the church, there are boxes containing the remains of Saint Catherine. Additionally, on the opposite side of the church lies the holy valley, regarded as the most sacred area in Sinai, where God instructed Prophet Moses to “remove your shoes because you stand on holy ground.” The return to the hotel is scheduled for around 1 PM.

The Mt. Sinai Climb and St. Catherine Tour begins with a convenient pickup in Sharm el Sheikh. After being collected by the guide, enjoy a relaxing journey to the mountain, which takes approximately three hours.

The first stop is near Mt. Sinai, the historic site where Moses received the 10 commandments. A guide will accompany the group as they ascend to the summit. Upon reaching the top, enjoy the breathtaking sunset views. For those who prefer not to hike, a camel ride to the top is available.

After descending, visit St. Catherine with the guide to explore the church before returning to the vehicle for the trip back to Sharm el Sheikh.
