Great trip - Nahjie was an excellent and highly competent guide. He pointed out many things I would not have seen. Had a great trip, even though it was raining for some of it.

A beautiful hiking experience - This is a pretty challenging hike, which of course is relative to your experience and fitness level. However, for me, it was quite the challenge as it should be completed in 6 to 8 hours, but it took me close to 14 hours round-trip. My guide was Chadi who was extremely patient, kind, and informative. He took great videos and pictures with my phone (he’s got a great eye for the views and what makes great content). He took the time to gather volcano mud to put on my face and to show me special things the trail had to offer like plants and swinging vines. Despite the hike taking me longer than usual and having him out after dark as my guide, he remained patient, considerate, and kind. He even made sure I had food to eat before a local restaurant closed nearby. This company was also very professional and helpful throughout the whole process, answering all my questions months in advance and making sure that I got back to my hotel safe after having a tiresome hike. I loved the experience so much and I look forward to coming back to Dominica. The views on this hike are spectacular!

Incredibly beautiful tour - My husband and I arrived on a cruise ship. The pickup near the cruise terminal worked very well. Our guide John led us perfectly and with a lot of information through the rainforest. All very impressive. The cooking was of course the highlight. The way there is really only for experienced and trained hikers. My husband and I (56/53) go hiking regularly, but the tour was the toughest until then. If you want to see impressive and beautiful nature, this is the right place. Thanks John to the great tour.

Incredible hike - The trail includes incredible views of Dominica. You can see other mountains, volcanoes and even other islands if the air is clear enough. There are also some incredible sections where the rock mixes with zinc and other chemicals to create very pretty colours. If you’re athletically fit, it won’t be too hard, but can take up to 6-10 hours depending on brakes and fitness. I’d recommend directly contacting guides as it’s cheaper than through this website. We had Chadi (instagram @chadi.767treks) who was a great tour guide so I’d definately recommend reaching out to him

Awesome hike to the Boiling Lake with Just Go Dominica - My wife and I hiked to the Boiling Lake with our guide Nahgie. The hike was tough (we are in good shape), but it was 100% worth the effort. We enjoyed seeing all the different terrains during the hike. Nahgie was very knowledgeable about the plant/animal life we saw during the hike, and he also looked out for our safety the entire time. Hiking to the Boiling Lake is something we will never forget. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Just Go Dominica when planning your trip to the island. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Boiling Lake Hike - We had an incredible experience with Just Go Dominica! The Boiling Lake hike is a must-do if you’re ready for a challenging 6+ hour trek—it's truly unlike anything else you’ve ever seen. I highly recommend doing the hike with Nahgie through Just Go Dominica. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of positive. The booking process was seamless. Yohanna coordinated with us via email, promptly answering all my questions about the hike. Nahgie picked us up from our accommodation and drove us to the trailhead. During the hike, he pointed out fascinating details we might have otherwise missed—edible plants, unique scents, and interesting rock formations. He was attentive to our pace, accommodating our energy levels with breaks whenever we needed them. Nahgie's knowledge of the hike was impressive, covering everything from the water temperatures at various points to the evolution of the terrain over time. His passion for the island’s nature and scenery made the experience even more enjoyable and enriching. If you're considering the Boiling Lake hike, definitely choose Nahgie and his team! Thank you for an unforgettable adventure! Additionally, we also went canyoning with Nahgie (through a different group), which was fantastic! If you have the chance to explore Dominica with him and his team, you won’t regret it. Book it!

Great experience, worth it. - Pickup at Roseau, 7-8 hour english very well guided tour through the national park, brought back to Roseau. Bring your own water bottle, lunch and swiming clothes. Dont expect a snackpack. Dont mind the cable car that is in construction right now. The guide was very experienced. #thumsup. We had a great day and tipps for our next days on Dominica, really worth it.

Hot and cold. - Immerse yourself with volcano mud. The smell of sulfuric water is simply bizarre and wild. The trip to get up there is for some, a bit scary but it is on hot spot to visit.

Boling Lake hike - Nahgie picked us up at the Cruise Port. We drove to the start of the path, and hiked to the Boiling Lake. It was a great (and tough) hike, but Nahgie was really helpful and provided lots of info on both Dominica and the hike it self. After coming back ~8 hours later we went for a swim in the gorge and he dropped us back at our ship. Great tour - can highly recommend Naghie.
