The only way to see Antigua - The only way to Antigua! An easy to find location from the cruise port with bikes waiting for you off the pier. Safety was the primary concern with mindful traffic routes and provided helmets. You get to cover a good amount of territory while getting a full dialogue of interesting facts from a local. The first stop is a fun little kayak ride by some mangroves. Then it is off to the beach and the fort. The entire time you get local flora and fauna descriptions. Our guide was well informed and covered so much culture and history. This is not an activity that is out of reach for normal fit persons. It’s well paced for comfort. Bring a change of clothes for hitting the beach!

Best tour of Antiqua !! - Giles was the best tour guide! This tour was informative and interesting. Bike ride was through the town with Giles giving information the entire time. The Kayaking was in an estuary and again Files was so informative. Then the short hike to the Fort with again more history of the island. We would highly recommend this tour to those who don’t want to sit on a bus.

Great excursion!! - We loved our little tour! There were 5 of us who did the tour, with 2 folks not riding a bike for almost 30 years lol. They had no problem - biking terrain was largely flat and Giles kept an easy pace. It was fun to ride through the streets and then to the beach.
The winds were quite strong that day. Nonetheless, we decided to go out on the kayaks and we saw many birds, fish and jellyfish. The kayaking was quite low risk as the lagoon is not deep and we appreciated Giles chats about the local flora and fauna.
We ended up at a beach near to one of the forts. It was lovely to order some drinks and relax on the beach before the walk around the fort. Giles provided us great information about the colonization battles between the English and the Spanish.
Giles is an excellent guide. He moves at a pace appropriate to the guests and he answered all the questions we threw at him. Highly recommend this excursion.

A wonderful half day in Antigua - We had a fantastic morning with Giles in Antigua. Giles met us at the pick point behind Yellow Banana Pizzas as planned and took us on an amazing bike tour of St John's. We visited the birth place of Viv Richards, went to a fruit market and visited a couple of beaches. The beach at Fort James was lovely and just what we were hoping to find in the Caribbean. Giles knowledge of the island was superb and we felt totally safe when we were cycling through the streets of St John's. The kayaking was okay but was effectively a kayak around an inland lake so was probably only 20 mins in total but we did get to see some local wildlife.
After the tour Giles showed us where the bus station was and we took a No 17 bus to Nelson's Dockyard which was well worth the trip (approx 30 minutes each way and cost US$2 each way). This was a great trip and Giles was the perfect host.

Got cancelled at last minute..... - Our event was cancelled at the last minute (the night before at 10:15 pm) due to "unavailability of staff" leaving us in a lurch (this was a cruise stop). This did not leave us a lot of time (like no time) to arrange an alternate excursion. All this despite the fact we reserved almost a month in advance. We were bummed.
