The experience is a... - The experience is a reminder that many men and women gave the ultimate sacrifice to maintain freedom for all future generations. Our guide, who is a military officer provided a unique understanding of the size, complexity and strategy of the invasion along with information for all areas we visited. The American Cemetery is beautiful and a great tribute to those who died there.

Normandy Beach tour. Excellent experience. - Visited Normandy & the landing beaches. It was wonderful but of course, historical & sad. Our tour guide, Voltron, knew the history, was very interesting and an A-1 guide.

Memorable and moving - Our guide Camille and driver Stefan were excellent. We learned a lot, in part, on the drive from Paris, and in part, while we were visiting the sites. So moving. We have seen movies and read books but actually being at these battle sites and memorials is a profound experience.

We loved Camila..she was so energetic and personable. She encouraged questions and kept us on time well. - Travelers should know that this is a fast paced, yet very informative tour. And that it will probably rain and be cold due to the sea air. It is advised to carry a coat.

Great day in Normandy. - This was exactly the tour I wanted and it did not disappoint. I had only one day to spare for Normandy and this covered everything I wanted to see. Pointe du hoc, Omaha, Utah, Juno and the American cemetery. It was a long 13 hour day . Stops were a little longer than I wanted but it is what it is. Our guide Demetri was amazing so knowledgeable and personable. Gave great history on WW1 and WW2. Our driver Fred kept us safe on the narrow streets and drove very professionally.

Our guide was so so. He... - Our guide was so so. He didn’t do a good job of setting the stage with background information so we could easily follow the history. Also, he ripped into three different travelers outside our group. One was a French vet who set his hat and coat on the base of a flagpole. His actions were over the top. Finally, it was difficult to hear him without earphones in the large group of roughly 20 people. If I was to do it again I would definitely sign up with a group that offered headphones. The upside, once you get off the highway the countryside is beautiful and the villages are quaint. The beaches and cemetery create a sense of reverence and thankfulness for those who served. Note: Plan on a three hour bus ride to get from Paris to Normandy.
