iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a huge protected area along the coast of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province. The park’s centrepiece is the vast Lake St. Lucia, home to large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, pelicans and flamingos. At Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, we embark on self drive game drives in the parks. We have opportunity to see the big 5 and many other animals.
We depart after breakfast and travel to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve for a 4 x 4 Game Drive
Hluhluwe - iMfolozi Park Wilderness Area - Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park, formerly Hluhluwe–Umfolozi Game Reserve, is the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa. It consists of 960 km² of hilly topography 280 kilometres north of Durban in central KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and is known for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts.
At Hluhluwe Imfolozi we go on a 4 x 4 Game Drive in search of the big 5 and many other animals.
We depart from Hluhluwe Imfolozi after the game drive and head back to Durban arriving late afternoon at around 6pm.
