Must-do in Bordeaux - We had a wonderful time learning about the wines and history of this beautiful region. Our guide, Renae, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and wine — we learned a lot! I appreciated that at the beginning of the tour he gave us an idea of what the costs might be between the 3 wineries we were visiting so we could budget accordingly… it is not cheap to send wine back home! I would highly recommend this tour, being able to sit back and take in the scene while learning about it, without stress, was wonderful. It was a highlight of our trip to Bordeaux!

St Emilion A to Z - Sign up for a great day of fun, learning, and wine tasting. <1 hr ride each way. Visited the town, learned traditional and bio methods of wine-making and tasted 9 good to excellent wines. The presenters at each chateau were very knowledgeable and engaging. Nicole was a repository of information and clearly has a passion for wine and talking about it. Highly recommend

A spectacular day in St Emilion - Our St. Emilion city tour and wine tasting were exceptional. Our guide, who holds degrees in enology and hospitality, expertly explained the wines and wineries. The tour, personalized to our group of two couples and a single traveler, featured a picnic among the vines and visits to three Grand Cru Classé wineries, each offering informative tours and tastings of 3-5 wines. Our guide knew all the best spots for wine, sightseeing, and photography.

Fantastic trip, knowledgeable hosts. Margot was great. - A great tour, the guide (Margot) was every very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She was sharing details of the wine region with us during the drive to St Emilion. The tour of the village was also interesting. 3 wine tours (the middle one of the day was the best one - Chateau Haut Rocher). We sat outside in the sunshine with fantastic views of the vineyards, doing a wine tasting followed by a picnic where the host left us with some extra wine for the table. We had a wonderful day.

Excellent day in the vineyards of St Emilion - Relaxed, very informative, well organised, visiting 3 smaller chateau’s (wineries) was fabulous, each unique and interesting. Great wines (plenty of tastings!) Enjoyed the stroll around St Emilion. Overall, an excellent day out 👏

A great day come rain or shine! - We thoroughly enjoyed this day! The walking tour of St Emillion was great and we tried some fantastic wines at three different chateaus, more than we had expected to try! The lunch was very nice too and the transport was clean and comfortable and our guide, René, provided us with umbrellas as it was a rainy day - although that didn't dampen our spirits! Everyone we met were very friendly and knowledgeable. We'd definitely recommend this Tour to others!

Excellent full day trip to Saint-Emilion and Pomerol - This was our first time in Bourdeaux and we decided to take this whole day tour to Saint-Emilion on the right bank of Gironde (Dordogne to be precise) on December 3 after our tour to Margaux on the left bank the day before. The tour was organized by Olala and our guide was Valentin. The departure point was a wine bar on Rue Mably, which is conveniently located and provides water replenishment service and a restroom. Everything in our case moved like clockwork. We left on time in a group of eight and rode for about an hour to Saint-Emilion where it was possible to take photos as we wandered through its cobblestone streets while Valentin provided lots of information regarding Bourdeaux, wine, and the town. We also stopped by a pastry shop and tasted the Macarons particular to St-Emilion. Then we headed to Chateau Taillefer for our first tasting. After a tour of the winery where we got briefed about the history of the estate, the terroir, and their process of winemaking, we tasted three wines, all red. In between the tastings we were offered small pieces of cheese. This was also the place where we all had our French picnic style lunch paired with a bottle of red. Then we headed to Chateau Cadet Bon for the second tasting where we were again given information on the same subject and moved to the tasting of four wines, all red and the fourth being extra. Then we were all pleasantly surprised by our visit to the cave in St-Emilion where older vintages are stored underground. This was followed by our visit to Chateau Balestard La Tonnelle, where we tasted three reds. On the way back, Valentin gave tips on favorable places to visit in and around Bourdeaux. These were all to the point since he is from around the area. His driving was very smooth and he was quite knowledgeable on the subject of wine. All in all, this was an excellent tour on a crisp yet beautiful sunny day with nice people to the heart of wine country.

It was just ok - It was very repetitive and the lunch was awful. The wine was generous but all red - a bit of white or rose would have been a nice break. Giving guests the chance to purchase their own lunch in the lovely village would be much better option.
