Must do excursion! - This is an absolute must do. We had a private guide in our jeep (family of 5) and he was so wonderful. Took us to all the sites, spent the whole day with us, teaching us and showing us so many amazing details and facts. You could tell this was his passion and it showed in the way he does the tour. This day was a highlight in our 10 day trip abroad. Highly recommend.

We had a great time with... - We had a great time with Raphaelle. The tour was fantastic and very informative! I'd add that I was concerned the jeep portion would be kitschy but it wasn't at all. Instead it allowed us to see areas we wouldn't have been able to otherwise and to really get a feel for the environment. Would highly recommend!

From start to finish it was most professional and highly entertaining. - Yes, every penny! I have never has such a fact filled, interesting, and overall satisfying experience. Your knowledge and presentations were interesting, informative, as all three of you (Noe, Tom, and Flavie) were absolutely fantastic and not sure anyone could have accommodated us any better. We apologize for the interrupting wth our many question and thank you for you kind patience when we did.
The Jeep experience was incredible and exceeded our expectations.

Amazing, unforgettable day! - Cannot say enough wonderful things about this tour company, and our guide Noe. The day was from 9-5:30. We opted for the jeep tour (after lunch) and got to meet one of the owners, Flavie. Her enthusiasm and passion were contagious. The jeep tour also took you places that the van couldn't go. There were 4 of us, and it was a private tour. And Noe - a walking history lesson with a great sense of humor and a hundred anecdotes that made the history come alive. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. You won't regret it.

Learned a great deal from our wonderful guides - Raphaelle was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and her enjoyment of her work and of sharing her knowledge was obvious. Similarly, Flavie (jeep excursion) knew her facts and told us numerous anecdotes that broadened our understanding of the landings. Raphaelle gave us a wonderful day, with great insight into the battle for Normandy.

Unforgettable Day at Normandy - Our family had the most incredible experience with Normandy Discovery Tours. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
Our guide, Rafaelle, was outstanding — not only deeply knowledgeable about the history of WWII, but also wonderfully attentive to our kids, who had an endless stream of questions. She answered every one with patience, enthusiasm, and true passion for the subject. Her ability to bring history to life made the entire day unforgettable.
We traveled in a beautiful private van that made the journey comfortable and easy, and one of the highlights was the WWII jeep ride — an amazing, unique experience that the kids (and adults!) absolutely loved.
The itinerary was perfectly balanced: visiting both Utah and Omaha Beaches, the moving American Cemetery, charming local churches, and even stopping for a delicious lunch. Every stop was meaningful and gave us a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices made here.
It’s clear Rafaelle loves what she does, and that passion shines through in every detail of the tour. We left not only better informed but truly touched by the experience.
I cannot recommend Normandy Discovery Tours enough — especially for families. This was a day we’ll remember for a lifetime, and we feel so grateful we chose this company.

Fantastic family experience - Great experience. Immersion with jeeps (very fun), fun, fun, great knowledge of the subject, it is clear that this work they are passionate about, it impresses to be in the historical sites and remember the facts. There were six of us, with four kids from 9 to 24, and they had a great time and learned a lot. Congratulations.

Jeep immersion tour was amazing!! Learned so much and saw so much history - This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide, Nóe, is VERY knowledgeable and thorough. I like to take pictures and he was very patient with me. I thought I knew so much about WW2 and D-Day but I learned so much today. The jeep immersion was fantastic. Flavie, was wonderful and the jeep immersion is definitely worth doing. We went off road and saw things we never would have been able to see. I had debated between this tour and one that was in a jeep all-day. I was very glad I chose this one for my wife and me as 1 hour in a jeep was plenty + we got to go to sites we would not have visited in the all-day jeep one. Thank you Flavie & Nóe!!

TAKE THIS TOUR!!!!!! Everything about it was a 10/10. - AMAZING!!! The guides treated us like family. We saw sites we knew about and many we didn’t. We learned so much while having an amazing time. Noe’ was our guide while not in the jeeps and was an outstanding guide. He taught us so much and gave us interesting facts throughout the tour. Not just about WW2, but about the towns, restaurants, and anything else we wanted to know. We only had one day and Flavie moved thing around so we would have tour that was second to none. If you come to Normandy take this tour!!!
