Worth the money - From the moment of pick up at the hotel everyone was very friendly, our guide gave a lot of information about the history of Cabo Verde and the places we visited. We could not see the Blue eye due tot high waves but the experience is highly recommended. We forgot our souvenir in the bus and they brought it to our hotel.

Fantastic Experience- Do it! - This is great value for money. Vanessa was our guide, she was very knowledgeable about the local area & each of the 3 sites. We visited the sharks first and survived! Then the Salt Lakes, a very odd feeling floating but glad we visited. And the Blue Eye, due to the time of year only 10% was visible. Hardly any queue. The rest of my family enjoyed jumping off the rocks into the sea. I'd definitely recommend this trip. Transport was on time and picked us up at the Hilton Hotel.

Learnt a lot about Sal & it’s people - Very entertaining & welcoming host who drove our bus & told us lots about Sal & Cape Verde culture & country. We drove through Espargos & learnt about education, building, society & went onto the Blue eye & salt lake. Highly recommend.

Visit the highlights of Sal - A fun and informative half day with Tony who is passionate about sharing his love for his island and its music and who looked after the group really well with care and humour. The bus was spotless and we really enjoyed wading with sharks and floating in the salt lake, as well as seeing the mirage and the Blue Eye.

Excellent morning on Sal with a fabulous guide - Our guide was brilliant, pointing out various points of interest on the way. We were taken to Shark Bay to see the baby lemon sharks first. Our guide handed us over to the team here, and we waded out knee deep to where the sharks were. It was quite precarious - you do need to take care, but it was so very worth it. There were several sharks that were swimming by and around your legs. The sharks were joined by a couple of different species of fish, which was a bonus. Back on land there are souvenir stalls, butcthere was absolutely no pressure to buy. The area on shore was sad to see. Covered in plastic, that's washed up from the ocean. Next we went to the old salt mines and salt lake (a very short distance). Our guide gave us some of the history before we went down to the salt flats and lake - the views as you look down are stunning. The lake was wonderful to get in and just float. There is an area where you can shower (it costs €1 which was well worth it, as you get quite a salt crust on you when it dries), and changing rooms to get into something dry. We were so lucky to get some sun on the day of our excursion. The days had been mostly cloudy. We were taken to see the mirage (sadly I didn't see it), but our guide took some fun pictures of us all. On the way here we were driven through local residential areas, both affluent and poor, with the guide giving a commentary full of interesting local knowledge. Next we were taken to see the Blue Eye. Thankfully we did see this (sun is essential!) It wasn't a full eye, but what we saw was enough. Such a beautiful colour. Our guide timed it perfectly. Again, here you can buy souvenirs with absolutely no pressure. There's also a small cafe and toilets. The admin side could be improved - we were told the guide would collect us from our hotel and would be holding a yellow sign. We'd changed our hotel, and had messaged Sal Experiences ahead of time to advise them of the change. They confirmed the change, but told us pick up would be from the old hotel. The guide arrived at the same time as another Sal Experiences tourist guide. One was in a branded vehicle, the other was not, but he didn't have a sign either. Small things, but they can be stress inducing (and on an island where the motto is "no stress" that's not great). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this trip (and our guide!)

Four hours trip is sufficient - Four hours excursion was enough to visit the three main attractions in Ilha do Sal. Our guide, Nany, was informative and had a very good sense of humour.

Far a way what It could be - Idea of tour is excellent. Unfortunately our guide; Mr called "KIKI" did not full fill as a professional guides demands: a) he think that he is Capo Verde`s Max Verstabben and driven the small buss like a lol and travellers cannot enjoy a view. And I feel bad behalf of the owner the vehicle b) he makes jokes from every issues that he is telling, not given single like a history info.. only the jokes .. and he likes to speak disparagingly from sex, religion, race..this is not the stories that I would like to hear on my paid vacation tour c) and in the tour point Blue Eye, all the other guides what we saw, went with their groups to see and tell details from the Blue Eye, but Mr Kiki was in rush to go play some craps game with his local friends and did not paid any attention to his group. Overall I can recommend the tour just if there is another guide than Kiki.. Idea is great but finishing is not well done
