Sal Rei - Welcome to the west coast of Boavista, where nature did an amazing job! We’ll start our journey by collecting you from your hotel in a 4x4 pickup truck and then head off to Morro de Areia “mountain of sand”, for the first stop. You’ll be amazed with the beauty of this “mini” Sahara!
To be more involved, you’ll experience the new activity of the island: Sandboarding to feel free like a child!
After this enjoyment, we then drive between the Dunes and along the coast to reach the Turtle’s bay “baía de tartaruga”.
There is nothing better than watching animals in their natural habitat having normal behavior, that means they re happy! We keep going and just a few minutes later we reach de Shark’s bay “baía de tubarão” where depending the sea level we can be lucky to sea this amazing Lemon Shark specie!
After this amazing experience we
go to the Old Village “Povoao Velha”, the first village of Boavista, inhabited by agricultures, fishermen and goat harders. There you’ll have chance to taste the local specialities in a comfy place.
The Rum (Grogue) and Licor (Pontche) are a must to try
This tour was designed to be nice and cool combining Nature, Adrenaline and Local taste.

Fantastic island tour - Great tour of the island with Fredy who was an excellent guide. Super way to see part of the island taking in the sand dunes, turtles and baby lemon sharks. Highly recommend

Excellent Tour - Great tour, Freddie was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We went to Santa monica beach as part of the tour which I don't think is mentioned in the TripAdvisor description so that was a nice surprise too.
Just one thing to mention, it's a good idea to take sunglasses to keep sand out your eyes when your on the back of the 4x4 and also it helps to see the sharks too. And best to wear old clothes aswell

It was truly unforgettable! - We had the absolute pleasure of exploring Boa Vista with Christian, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we met him, his warm personality and deep knowledge made us feel at ease. He guided us through stunning places we never would have discovered on our own, sharing fascinating stories along the way. Every moment was filled with joy, and his enthusiasm made the experience even more special.
Thanks to Christian, we spent a wonderful time surrounded by beauty, adventure, and great company. If you're lucky enough to have him as your guide, you're in for an incredible experience! Highly recommended. 🌟

Best tour on Boa Vista!! - Firstly the tour guide and driver were amazing - they really cared about making our day fun. Sandboarding - hilarious, I totally face planted the sand!! They moved round turtle bay give us a second chance to see the turtels - no other tour guide did this that we saw. We were warned that we probably wouldn't see sharks but did. The ride round the sand dudes was so much fun - loved the camaraderie with the other tour guides - and the fact that our driver was fastest!! The village was gorgeous and hugely hospitable- can not recommend this tour highly enough!

Great way to explore Boa Vista - We had so much fun with the 2 guides and their humor. The sights were beautiful and Fredy explained everything really nicely. Sandboarding and a spontaneous swim stop was a lot of fun as well as visiting the oldest village of the island. thank you!

Super trip - Super trip we were only two and our tour guide Fredy was very patient with us we could slide down the dune as often as we wanted and take photos as long as we wanted. He was very nice and funny.

A highly recommended excursion - The trip was really nice. We've seen turtles. Unfortunately, there were no sharks. This is nature We were sandboarding in the desert and it was a lot of fun. Afterwards there was a delicious tasting of typical liqueurs and rum and snacks and the opportunity to buy souvenirs in the village. Thanks to our guide Fredy for the informative tour and to our driver for the safe ride across the country.

Good Serious Team - Very good serious team, very good driver and Celine very nice guide.
We were disappointed, however, because we did not see the turtles or sharks.
And on another excursion we had to visit the soap factory but it was closed, so quite disappointed.

Sandboarding, shots & offroading fun, what more do you need? - Fredy was a superb guide, very knowledgable, a good/bad influence ;) and lots of fun was had sandboarding (please note this is sat down only - not stood up sandsurfing like the pics show), off road drifting, seeing the green turtles, lemon sharks and sampling some of the local delicacies in a local restaurant 😋 there was an unexpected 30min/ hour stop close to the restaurant to walk around the village and buy from the local shops - we didn’t take money for this and some of the locals whilst most welcoming and friendly, were very pushy as rely mostly on tourism…worth being prepared for this 👍
