Arrive as a Guest – leave as a Friend - Ahmeds slogan starts with: "Arrive as a Guest – leave as a Friend." And that couldn’t be more true!
Ahmed truly lives by this motto – from the very first moment, we didn’t feel like tourists, but like friends. With his warm and welcoming personality, he made every single tour a special and memorable experience.
We joined him on the Salalah East and West tours as well as the desert tour – and we can genuinely recommend them all. Ahmed showed us the most beautiful places in Salalah, gave us a real insight into the Omani culture, and made sure we had lots of fun along the way.
What makes him stand out is that he’s a local who knows the region inside and out, and he shares his knowledge with passion and heart. He’s flexible, listens to your wishes, and never rushes – everything feels personal and relaxed. On top of that, his service offers excellent value for money – fair, transparent, and more than worth it.
Dear Ahmed, thank you so much for these unforgettable days – we truly arrived as guests and left as friends. Looking forward to the next adventure!
Best Regards from Lucerne | Switzerland

Unforgettable sunset on the highest dune - Amazing experience. The guide is really kind and expert of the area, he brought us on the highest dune, provided us with tasty snacks and tea and also typical outfits for taking some pictures. Nice stops on the way, he also offered us some camel meat in an authentic restaurant

A nice trip in the desert - We did the “sunset over the dunes” trip in a group of 9 people with two children,
on two comfortable and spacious 4x4 off-road vehicles.
The tour took place in several stages: incense tree, black camel farm, Ubar site (UNESCO cultural heritage) and coffee break, as well as of course the desert dunes.
Arriving on the dunes, about a couple of hours before sunset, we had time to take pictures, explore the place and snowboard down the dunes. Shortly before sunset, the guides prepared a small refreshment with carpets, pillows, food and drinks (juice, coffee, water, sandwiches and fruit).
Before returning, we stopped to admire the stars.
The tour was overall very nice and fun, our guide spoke very good English and provided us with a lot of information and curiosities.

Day Trip with Sunset in the Desert - Our guide Ahmed made the desert safari an unforgettable, impressive experience for us. He showed us the sights such as the incense tree plantation, the excavation site Ubar, the black camels and much more about the land and people in a competent manner and brought them closer to us. The highlight of the tour was of course the desert. We were even allowed to travel a short distance with the Jeep itself. You can only recommend Ahmed and Glory Tours, the excursion exceeded all expectations of us. A great country.

An unforgettable afternoon - The trip to the Rub al Khali desert with Ahmed was just beautiful. My husband and I were and still are very impressed. We stopped at an incense plantation and also visited a camel farm. We were invited to a delicious Karak tea that tasted so good. Ahmed was even so nice that he drove with us to the nearest supermarket to buy the ingredients for the delicious spice tea with us. The next short stop was at the city of Ubar - the Atlantis of sand.
After a total distance of about 200km we were then at our destination. The desert.
Barefoot with tea and fresh fruit boiled on the fire we enjoyed the sunset in the desert.
We would definitely recommend Glorytours and the managing director Ahmed.

A piece of Oman - The experience was fantastic from start to finish.
They picked us up at the hotel, in a 4x4. On the way we made the stage of incense, a plantation where you see incense trees. The guide told us and touched the resin. After that he took us to a fortress and then we went to see the Black Dromedaries. We drank their milk and eventually stopped on the two desert. With a real expert guide he made us climb to the top of a dune to see the sunset. There are no words he took some pictures of us offered tea and Arabic bread and afterwards we returned. On the way back we had a very interesting conversation about our cultures so distant, but so similar in a way, that I was enchanted by his stories.
Five stars to our magnificent guide. Thank you for giving us a piece of you.
