The Lost City of Ubar - Explore the ‘Lost City of Ubar,’ another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient site in the Dhofar region was uncovered by archaeologists using remote sensing technology in 1992. Ubar is believed to have been inhabited from around 2800 B.C. to 300 A.D. and served as a significant trading hub for frankincense before being buried by shifting sands. A small museum on-site showcases archaeological finds, with the entrance fee included.
