With an English-speaking guide, participants will have the chance to enter and explore the Great Mosque with its minarets, and view the Sultan’s palace from the outside. The tour includes a visit to the Balid Museum, which narrates the history of the Sultanate of Oman through detailed models and captivating images, located next to a lagoon where cranes and herons can be seen. Legend has it that the Queen of Sheba once stayed here. The journey continues through plantations of coconuts, bananas, papayas, and tamarinds. There will be several opportunities for shopping at bazaars, gold and silver markets, and small traditional souks.
