⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sunset Desert Safari in Salalah – Adventure, Culture, Camels & the Most Magical Sunset ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Today we did another tour with Mohammed – this time the desert safari tour at sunset in Salalah. Even the start was perfect: As usual, Mohammed picked us up on time right at the hotel – in a clean, well-maintained Toyota Land Cruiser, which is perfect for this tour. Along the way Mohammed told us a lot about the history and culture of Oman – informative, exciting and never boring. Our first stop was at Wadi Dawkah, where we saw the famous incense trees. Afterwards we stopped at the beautiful black camels – a real experience! We were allowed to feed them and even pet the little baby goats – an unforgettable moment. Another highlight was the visit to Ubar, the “lost city” in the desert, often referred to as Atlantis of the desert. Mohammed told us the fascinating history of this place, which used to be an important trading center for incense and remained lost for centuries. And then came the highlight: the desert tour in the golden sand dunes. Mohammed drove us through the huge dunes – exciting, safe and absolutely breathtaking. As the sun slowly set lower, we stopped at a high dune. From there, we had a 360-degree panoramic view over the endless desert – absolute silence, no sound except the wind, and this indescribable smell of freedom. Then the sunset began. A sight that has given us all goose bumps and we will never forget. This experience was not just a safari, but a real adventure for all the senses – adrenaline, nature, peace and magic. Once in Salalah, you can't miss this tour. It is a moment that is difficult to put into words – you must have experienced it and with Mohammed as your guide it is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience - We had an unforgettable day with Mohammed, who accompanied us into the Rub al-Chali desert. On the way we tasted Oman's Karak tea and visited the ruins of the former fort of Ubar - the "Atlantis of the Sands". One of the highlights was the encounter of the rare black camels. At the desert, Mohammed gave us time to experience the dunes on our own. We then watched a terrific sunset and had the feeling of having the whole desert to ourselves - absolutely magical. Mohammed is a wonderful guide and we definitely recommend this trip.

Unforgettable Sunset Desert Safari with Mohamed - Mohamed picked us up right on time at 2 PM from our hotel – his car was spotless and comfortably air-conditioned. On the way to the desert, we stopped at the rare Laban trees, where he shared fascinating stories about their cultural significance. We also enjoyed delicious traditional Omani Karak tea. Shortly after, we spotted rare black camels – a true highlight! We then visited the lost city of Ubar and continued into the desert, where Mohamed gave us an exciting dune-bashing adventure. He then gave us time to quietly explore the desert on our own, returning at sunset to take beautiful photos of us. What made this tour truly special was how Mohamed answered all our questions about Oman – it felt like a live and engaging history class. There were cold drinks, snacks, and his warm, friendly presence throughout the trip. A wonderful experience – highly recommended!
