Salem Witch Museum - The actual Salem Witch Museum was awesome. However, I traveled as a single and met another single prior to the tour. However, we got separated and we thought the two groups would meet up after the tour. However, the two groups did not meet up after the tour. I did not see my new friend until we were boarding the ferry to go back to Boston. I feel the tour director took away my opportunity to have lunch with someone and enjoy her company.

Meh - It was very cool to say we went to Salem, but our tour guide didn’t make it a memorable experience. We saw the other tour from the company and the guy was engaging with the group on the ferry, taking pictures of them, sharing fun facts, while our guide would stop us at a random spot and talk for 20 mins before we could move forward to actually see stuff. Felt like she needed a microphone and a script so we could keep moving. We barely got to see anything before it was time to come back. I’d suggest skipping the tour and doing a self-guided one in the future. Very cool place with interesting history though.

Salem Day Trip - Very informative but on the slow side. While we learned a lot from our tour guide, Penny, we felt we could have seen a lot more at our own pace. We enjoyed being able to travel to Salem by Ferry.

Unfortunate change from scenic ferry to train - Our 1 hour scenic ferry got canceled due to weather and was replaced with a 30 minute commuter train ride through dregs of the area. We were not informed of the switch until we had been dropped off by Uber at the original meeting place at the wharf and were then told we had to make our own way to the train station. Since we were traveling with a 91 year old woman with a cane this involved getting another Uber. We were told by the tour representative that met us at the wharf that we would be reimbursed for the ferry ride, but when I requested the refund, I was denied and, of course, they refused to take any responsibility for the additional Uber ride cost either.
