Beautiful trip to Cocora Valley - The hike and horse riding across the Cocora Valley was absolutely gorgeous. Our guide Nicolas was very friendly, helpful and explained a lot about the nature of the Cocora Valley. This was an amazing experience, I would definitely book with Cocora tours again, especially with our guide Nicolas!

Great combination of horse riding and nature hike - My friend and I had a great time on this tour. We loved the combination of horse riding (for around 45 minutes or so) and hiking. Our guide Nicolas was friendly and knowledgeable and a great company on this adventure. We learned a lot about the surrounding nature and valley (impressive palm trees and we saw lots of hummingbirds)
The tour was very well organised and structured and we were well prepared for it with hiking/walking shoes (proper shoes are definitely needed as this is not a walk in the park, it was a proper hike for several hours which we really enjoyed)
I also want to note that the horses looked very well looked after and trained and the guide for the horse riding part was also great with the animals and with us (very friendly)
Thanks a lot for this day at the Cocora Valley! We had a great time and would love to come back one day

Cocora Ball - A very nice activity in Salento, we decided to visit the viewpoints and the river on horseback. Very calm mid-June, very friendly guides, a group of 5 people and sunshine!

Spectacular Views - The views and the nature I got to experience was fantastic! I loved the combination of the horseback ride and hiking since I o it had one full day here. This allowed me to experience a little bit of everything!

gorgeous hike in Cocora Valley! - This was an absolutely incredible experience and I would highly recommend it! Cezar was really knowledgeable and a great guide. The views were absolutely stunning and my horse was really sweet. My only complaints are with the description of the tour. In the description it says "walk" but this was definitely a hike. I tracked it, and it ended up being 6.8 miles total and 1400 ft of elevation gain- on foot. I love hiking, so this wasn't a problem for me, but I know that's not the case for everyone. It wasn't super clear from the description how intense it would be- it seemed as if the hardest parts would be done on horseback, but the horseback portion was roughly 30 minutes. I definitely would have worn more appropriate footwear and clothing if I realized. Some of the pics of the tour also included the Cocora valley sign and sculptures that are more like photo ops, ex the angel wings, and woman with her hands out, so I thought we'd be walking around and seeing these in a much more casual manner- you can see these sculptures but from a distance, the experience was much more about hiking down into the valley.

Unforgettable and unmissable - The perfect experience to have in Salento, I would highly recommend the longer tour -- trekking through the jungle and seeing the different stages of the Cocora Valley was amazing. One of the best tours I've ever had, would happily do it again!

Nice experience- overpriced - Horseback riding in Salento was a lovely experience, offering beautiful views and a peaceful way to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the experience. However, it did feel a bit overpriced, especially compared to other activities in the region. If you’re planning to go, I recommend waiting until you’re there to book—you can often negotiate a better price. It’s a great activity overall, but they could improve by offering more reasonable rates for tourists.

VERY POOR INFO FROM VIATOR - Nicholas was an absolute amazing tour guide. So informative and we would not have made it without him. The problem is this tour is NOT for persons without hiking experience. This tour is NOT for people 55 and above. Viator NEVER made us aware that you hiking needed experience to make it through. The horse ride was wonderful. Our guide was fantastic. But having to walk for another 6 hours or so with no experience in mountain and rock climbing was a huge disappointment for us. Shame on Viator for not warning their customers first. Obviously they only care about the ticket sales and not the customers. Thank you Nicholas.. we would not have made it without you!
