Highly recommend! - This is by far the best and easiest way to see the amalfi coast. This company was professional, the boat ride was amazing, and our captain Ricardo was the BEST. He was very attentive of our every need.
We loved swimming and also the stops in the towns. Ricardo also had a lot of interesting and useful knowledge about the coast and pointed things out to us. He took great pics of us. Also the boat was very nice!
We will use them again for sure!

Incredible day on the water- it’s a splurge but so worth it!! - Overall, we had an amazing trip!! We usually don’t splurge on things like this while traveling but it was so worth it (our favorite travel experience so far!!) since it was private and our skipper was flexible with what we wanted to do. It’s also not that much more expensive than being on a small group boat tour. I looked up many boat tours and a lot were much more expensive so this one seems to be good value!
If you’re thinking about booking and have the means to do so, go ahead and book!! We are so glad we did this on the first day of our trip to get a good feel of the Amalfi Coast and also to avoid the crowds!!
I have a long review that I hope can help people make a decision!
Our skipper and boat ride on the day of were amazing, but communication from the company was not active and if I hadn’t reached out, I don’t know if they would have ever contacted me.
We booked through TripAdvisor and I contacted them on WhatsApp- they were quick to respond! I messaged after booking and also the day before to confirm because I hadn’t heard from them. I also asked to confirm the times and was then told that the 8 hours would be shortened to 7 because of transportation to/from Salerno and Maiori. That is understandable but that should’ve been communicated beforehand. Overall I had to be proactive about communication.
We got picked up in Maiori by Alessandro who was on time and very friendly! The boat was so new and clean, and had a super comfy area to sit on/lay if you’d like. Alessandro’s English was excellent and communication was not a problem. We let him know we were interested in seeing Grotto Della Smeraldo and he immediately called them and let us know the price (10 euro/pp) and they just opened and had good availability. We traveled west and Alessandro pointed out things of interest, buildings, mountains, caves, waterfalls, rock formations, bridges, etc and took the time to explain them to us and get up closer. We also asked about things we saw and he was so knowledgeable!! He took us to the grotto and while it wasn’t a place he was familiar with, he was able to get us there and he waited on the boat while we went inside (it was small but a fun lil tour!), and came to get us once we were done. We kept going west until a bit past Positano, then stopped for a swim. Alessandro noticed the water was a bit oily (maybe someone’s fuel leaked) and he moved us to a spot a little further out. We were thankful for how observant he was! We then had lunch in Conca dei Marini, which was so nice and had a beautiful view of the water. After that, we headed back east and he showed us a couple caves and let us swim another two times before dropping us back off in Maiori, and we paid for the fuel (100euro. They said to expect it to be 100-120) and tip. Not sure if tip is customary but we appreciated Alessandro’s time and kindness. The views were gorgeous, the boat ride was so fun (I get motion sickness and took a dramamine and was fine) even with some waves, and it was surreal to be on a private boat in the Mediterranean, and be able to just swim right off the boat!! Thank you for such an amazing trip and we’ve already recommended this tour to friends!!

A boat excursion we will never forget - Antonio was a fantastic skipper- he was very knowledgeable and gave us a very comprehensive tour of the coast, with several amazing swim spots. We finished the day with his recommendation of a lunch spot that was incredible! We will be using blue dream in the future for sure! Thank you so much for such an incredible day on the water!

Dream day on the Amalfi Coast - What a magical day on the water exploring the Amalfi coast. If there's one thing you should treat yourself to on your Amalfi vacation it's a private boat tour with Blue Dream. Absolutely the highlight of our trip.
I researched several boat charters and Blue Dream was the most responsive to my questions and seemed to care the most that we have a good day. It was a little more money than the cheaper options but we had full confidence that we would be taken care of.
The day before our boat tour, Lorenzo, the owner, sent a map pin that took us right to the pier. Our skipper, the friendly Alessandro, came and scooped us up. One of the first things he said was that he was at our service and the day was ours to do with what we choose.
Cruising along the Amalfi coast is really the only way to get a sense of the incredible beauty and amazing architecture of the homes and hotels that are built into the cliffsides. It was one stunning town after another. You really can't believe how they have built all these structures into the side of the cliffs over centuries. Alessandro took us to a cave and we jumped in the water and swam inside the big cavern. The water everywhere is insanely beautiful and warm.
We decided to get off the boat in Amalfi and check out the main tourist street which was very crowded and we were happy to be able to get back on the boat and whisked away to sea. You can stop anywhere you want for lunch but we just grabbed sandwiches to go.
We continued along the coast and stopped at a spectacular beach that we had to ourselves and just swam and snorkeled and sat on the beach for an hour until we decided to move on. Timeless and magical.
The boat is very comfortable and we sat in a few different parts of it during the trip. It has shade over the back couch area but we also enjoyed sitting up front with an unobstructed view of everything.
We passed a few of the group charter boats and the people didn't look all that comfortable, so we were grateful to have splurged for our own boat. Plus it's really not that much more money.
We have warm memories of our trip and Alessandro was a wonderful host. He knew a bunch of history about the area, having grown up nearby.
Thank you Alessandro, Lorenzo, and Blue Dream. It really was a dream come true!

Waste of time - We chartered a motorboat without skipper. One day before the event the rental company contacted us and told that we have to rent a skipper too for additional 80 €. This would be necessary only on that day. I refused to pay for a skipper and booked another day this boat. But the rental said again that it is not possible. The free rental dates on Viator where all wrong and we cannot rent a boat. So we had to cancel again. Just a waste of time… :/
