The journey will commence from the city of Salta, heading towards the 14-color hill, also known as the SerranÃas del Hornocal, as we enter the province of Jujuy. Here, the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, awaits exploration. The route includes passing through the village of Volcano, Purmamarca, where the stunning Cerro de los 7 Colores is located; Tilcara; Humahuaca, the largest town in the ravine; UquÃa, a quaint town home to the ancient paintings of the Arcabucero Angels; Huacalera, where the imaginary line of the Tropic of Capricorn is crossed; and finally, La Palette del Pintor in Maimará.
Upon reaching UquÃa, a transfer to a 4x4 vehicle will take place, leading to Hornocal for breathtaking panoramic views. A brief 20-minute stop in Humahuaca is included. It is advisable to bring lunch, as there will be no opportunity to dine at a restaurant in Humahuaca. The return journey to Salta will then commence.
