A Must Do Tour - One of the best tours I have ever gone on. Mitch, our guide, made the tour so much fun. Lost of great comparisons to the movie and the real life Marie. I highly recommend.

A fantastic journey through the Sound of Music! - Connor was an excellent guide. He had the passengers singing Sound of Music songs. On top of that he gave out postcards at the end of the journey. The bus drive was really good as well. I suggest you give both of them a raise!

Best of both worlds - We did salt mines and sound of music. The salt mines get cold so make sure to wear pants and a good shirt. They provide protective outer wear. Also, with the tour being attached to the Eagles nest. You don’t really have much time in the gift shop. So if possible, look at their shop online before you go so you can see if there are things you want to buy or look at, and have that chance before you are rushed back onto the shuttle bus. The Sound of Music tour as amazing! Well worth it if you are a fan. Learn more of the true history of the Von Trapps. It was so fun to see the sights, take pictures and get some souvenirs.

Outstanding sound of music tour - Outstanding tour, due to our tour guide David and bus driver Haki. From start to finish David held our attention with his knowledge of all things of The Sound of Music. His enthusiasm was infectious he had the whole bus singing and joining in. I have been on many tours over the years but this has to be far the best I have ever been on. It was so much fun from start to finish. David was amazing and nothing a bother to him. If you ever go on this tour make sure David is your guide. 10 out of 10 from my friend and myself. 3 days later we are still talking and smiling about it

Great family tours—Great time!! - We started our day with the Original Sound of music tour, where both our bus driver (Ferdinand) and our tour guide (Bridget) were FANTASTIC! Both of them were so personable, and kept us interested in the history of the movie and the history of the city! They were so fun, and although our tour started early, made the whole experience worth it! Tour provided great views, and great historical significance! We finished the day at a Salt Mine tour with Leo, and while what we signed up for was just a basic tour, what we got was THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! He was so knowledgeable about the history of Salzburg, the world wars, and even US/British history! We were so lucky to be the only family on his tour, and instead of just letting us roam freely, he took us all around the town and explained everything we saw/everything we tried to eat/drink! He provided us with more knowledge in the few hours we spent with him, than anyone else we have met throughout Europe! I HIGHLY recommend Leo, and I truly think he was the sole reason our Salt mine tour was worth the trip!!! If you are touring the salt mines with Panorama PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and ask for Leo—You won’t regret it!!!

Singers preferred - It is best to know the movie. If you do, then it becomes a very good way to get an overall view of Salzburg and plan other exploring days. It gets very silly with the whole bus singing... We had an excellent tour guide and an excellent driver.

All day tour - Salt mine trip was excellent, 1 hr of constant education and experience. Guide was fab, very knowledgeable and adding great humour. Had to share bus with Eagles Nest tour so wasted time going there twice. Disappointed with Sounds of Music tour, Antonio was great and informative but felt there could have been more interactiveness,e.g better sound system & lyrics on screens. The video was good but repeated all that Antonio had briefed. Still a good day and worth doing to see and enjoy the history of the area.
