During concert breaks you enjoy dinner in one of Europe’s oldest restaurants - St. Peter Stiftskulinarium - first mentioned in a document in 803. This picturesque setting of the candlelit Baroque Hall is located in the heart of Salzburg’s old town. The three-course meal is inspired by historical recipes from the 1700s, so you try dishes that you wouldn’t usually make at home. Musicians of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg, consisting of an exquisite chamber ensemble and two opera-singers, all dressed in authentic Rokoko costumes, inspire with a lively and first-class show.

The venue, St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is the oldest restaurant in middle Europe and even Mozart and his family used to dine there.
Dress Code: smart casual, admission until 7:15pm
- Wheelchairs: there is no lift, but wheelchairs can be carried upstairs by staff (no electric, heavy wheelchairs). Please arrive no later than 6:30 pm.
- Evening starts at 7:30pm, admission until 7:15pm, doors open at 6:30pm, box office is available from 6:00 pm.
- Late seating ist possible only during intermissions. Early appearance recommended.
- Seats are at shared tables and will be assigned on the spot
- Dress code is smart casual.
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements on the spot.
- Beverages are not included and are to be paid after the performance.

Great dinner, vegetarian friendly! - Awesome Salzburg experience! The live quintet was wonderful. Personally, I enjoyed the music alone rather than the music and opera. I don’t eat meat but left a note on my reservation and they were MORE THAN accommodating! The main dish was absolutely phenomenal; a delicious risotto. The radler was also excellent. Highly recommend for a fun, Salzburg-specific evening!

A great night of Mozart . Thanks ! 🎼 - Our Anniversary night and with a larger tour group . It was very entertaining and enjoyable. Loved the historic setting , costumes, musical performances, and the historic food menu . Very unique and one of our most fun highlights . Transformed back to 1790 . Thanks !

An incredible experience from start to finish - Fantastic way to spend an evening, the service is exceptional, the setting is beautiful, the food lovely and the performances outstanding. Loved every minute - you don’t need to be a ‘fan’ or know much about Mozart’s music to enjoy this experience.

A lovely evening of food and music - My daughter & I decided last minute to check out the Mozart dinner. I am SO glad we did! What a delightful evening of food and song! The musicians were top-notch, which is hard to find in such a touristy area. The opera singers did a beautiful job of engaging the audience; I was lucky enough to dance with the male soloist! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

A Must To Do in Salzburg - One of the most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had. We’d only landed for a few hours and this was our first experience of Salzburg and it really got us in the mood!
The front of house staff were very helpful and friendly, the performances were brilliant as well as funny and really engaging with the audience and the food was brilliant too, especially the traditional Austrian dessert.
Also for the carbon zero conscious people remember the performances are without microphone or sound system…. The natural acoustics of the room- very remarkable !
I would most definitely recommend this as a must to any one coming to Salzburg.

Check you have correct table seating - Be sure to stipulate which table you are booking. When I booked the seating arrangements showed there were only 4 or 5 tables for 2 Infront of the musicians, however, when we arrived they had a 2nd row of tables for 2 behind the first row. After being placed behind the front row, and I had booked the table nearly a year in advance, they said because I hadn't stipulated which table (that option did not appear at time of booking) they chose the table for us - not happy about that. A little while later we were given a complimentary glass of bubbly wine, which was appreciated. Although visibility was still good it was very difficult taking photos as unfortunately 2 larger, tall gentleman where on each side in front of us and difficult to take photos without getting one or both in. Anyway, apart from that disappointment the show was wonderful and I'd certainly recommend it.

Music and dinner were... - Music and dinner were excellent. Only issue was we had no choice about seating and we were the only people with our backs to the musicians. I asked to change seats but was told it wasn't possible despite many tables being entirely unused.

Poor signage - We tried desperately to find parking and the Baroque room itself where the dinner and concert were to be held, for 1 1/2 hrs. We never did find it. Very poor signage and notification for the event. No phone number or contact was available for this event to help us. Now we’re out $187.50 and no performance. If asked, I would recommend people go to the dinner concert if the fortress which had many signs for it.

Poor food selection. Not worth money. - Significantly reduced portion sizes and quality of meal. At least allow us to pick from main menu. Quality below average. We feel we were taken advantage with the dinner. We paid almost $200.00. Any restaurant would have been better quality and less expensive. Whoever managed this we would like money back for the dinners.
