• Salzburger Altstadt - The journey begins on the vibrant Linzer Gasse, leading to the Salzach River, crossing the “Staatsbrücke” and continuing along the river to Mozart Square. Once in the Old Town, all the significant and renowned landmarks are explored, including the Old Market Square, University Square, Hofstallgasse, as well as the Cathedral Square and Kapitel Square. Many of these landmarks are recognizable from the Sound of Music.

Gaining some elevation, the “Mönchsberg”, one of the city’s mountains, is ascended with ease, passing by the Hohensalzburg Fortress. On the mountain, the most stunning viewpoints are visited: The “Richterhöhe” and the Museum of Modern Art, where the city’s 1,000 rooftops are visible below. After descending the mountain, the route continues through medieval alleys and along the Salzach River to the final destination and photo opportunity, Castle Mirabell and its Gardens, before returning to the starting point.
