Outstanding experience - The Original Sound of Music tour by the Panorama company is THE company to book with for a true experience. They focused only on the Sound of Music. Our bus was filled with super fans. It was so fun!! Tour guide Simon was brilliant, very very funny and gave insight and knowledge about the movie and sights. He seems to have a gift and ability which translate to making this tour the most amazing experience. We had a little sing song at different points. The 4 hours were like gold dust. In terms of sights we saw the far away places one would never get to. For example, the famous boating lake scene, and the church where they got married. Both of which are a good drive. Scenery is amazing and we got to stop, get off, do a short walk to take photos. Toilet stops/ drinks/ice cream/ gift shop are en route. On the way home a short video is played with an interview which nicely wrapped up the trip. We had such an amazing experience.

Great trip - We learned so much about how and where the move was filmed, Birgitte was a knowledgeable guide, we sang on the bus and was fun. Haki was also a superb driver. My teen daughter wants to go back in the summer, we went in march and it was very cold but nonetheless the Austrian alps and lakes were beautiful.

A fantastic way to not only see the Sound of Music Sights but to take in the breathtaking views of Austria! - Genuinely one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Fun, engaging, exciting and gives you enough time in each spot to take pictures and take it all in! So many brilliant facts about the film and also the history of Austria! Would highly recommend- our tour guide Mitch was brilliant!!

A must for enthusiasts! - 5/5 Excellent tour. Highly recommended. Very informative, humorous guide. Every stop along the way was filled with interesting information about the film as well as background context which brought the film and Salzburg to life in a new way. A must for enthusiasts.

The best trip in Salzburg! - What an amazing time we had here on our Sound of Music tour. The tour guide Kadien really made our trip that little bit more special, great sense of humour and knowledge. You get to visit a great range of places, and see some amazing sites along the way. We loved it and this tour really was the pinnacle of our trip to Salzburg. The bus driver Haki was also great. Thank you, we highly recommend!

A must do tour sounds of music lover or not - Absolutely brilliant Sound of Music tour -half day.
The coach was immaculate. Haki the driver & Kaydien tour guide were both very personable & professional.
The amount of back stories told about the film was amazing.
Normally we are not great singalong people but felt there was no pressure to join in and the singing wasn't too much just bits at the right time.
We mainly booked to see more of the area outside Salzburg.
The Lake district area is so beautiful also 45 minutes stop at beautiful Mondsee.
We can not recommend this tour enough whether you are a Sound of music fan or not .

These are a few of my favorite things... - This was a must! I'm so glad my mom and I got to take this trip and hop on the Sound of Music bus! It was so special - for anyone who has had sappy memories of the film and their childhood, this just adds to it. Let go of any inhibitions you have of singing or being cheesy, just embrace it - you'll be on a bus full of equally sappy fans, so just enjoy the mush and spend a few hours soaking in the beautiful scenery, the fun facts, the enthusiasm, and the nostalgia. April, you're awesome!

Beautiful in the winter too - It was a cute tour and a great way to spend half a day around Salzburg. It was beautiful to travel here in the winter as well, the guides were great.

Cold sound of music - Was amazing seeing some of the scenes from where sound of music was filmed!
Even with the cold the whole trip was still great! Saw a nice church where the wedding was film
