Enjoy but be aware - Long day and it often felt disorganized and like a hurry up and wait. The tour guides at pickup were not clear on where we were going or what to expect. We were taken to a strip mall parking lot with multiple other vans where we were given no information. After about 1/2 an hour they just started yelling locations and pointing at buses/vans to get on. Everyone looked confused, many of us didn’t speak the same language so we were trying to confirm with other people that we were all going to the same place since the guides/drivers weren’t clear. The bus driver didn’t speak or set expectations for the 2 hour drive to the town where we were getting on the boat, we didn’t know how long the drive was going to be. When we got there it was chaotic and we were hungry since we weren’t able to eat before leaving the hotel and no food was available at the mall or on the bus. We were able to get a snack at a stand by the dock. There was confusion and more yelling between guides about what boat we were going to be getting on, finally we got on one that appeared ready to leave when we got to the dock. The whale watching tour lasted 30 minutes from the time we saw whales. When preparing to go to the island we were literally skipped over when they were taking drink orders. The island stop was not clearly explained in English on our excursion, and in my opinion could have been skipped because it wasn’t enough time to relax and enjoy the beach. After that the experience got better. The food at the ranch was delicious, the horseback ride was beautiful but be prepared for some muddy hills. Bring tip money for the horse guides, mine ended up losing her shoes in the mud and going home barefoot at the end of the day. The waterfall is gorgeous and the horse guides work hard getting you to/from the ranch but are not paid by the tour company. The worst part about this tour was what felt like they were disorganized between stops which made the day longer and more stressful than it needed to be.
