Loved seeing the Whales. - Papa George was amazing. Funny, interacted with everyone and was very knowledgeable about the whales. He spoke Spanish, English, Italian, French and German. The only issue we had was the amount of boats on the water and every single one followed the whales and didn’t cut their engines to avoid propeller strikes. As wonderful as it was to see them, it was less wonderful to watch them being chased each time they surfaced. The island was great, lunch was nice. The vendors were unrelenting which made it hard to want to walk through the area.

Highly recommended - The pick-up from our hotel worked, but the pick-up time was not communicated to us before, so after a 3/4 hour wait we were unsure if anyone else would come. The contact telephone number provided could not be reached (no free sign). On the whalwatching tour we saw many whales. The food on the subsequently headed island was rich and good. Communication with the captain was very poor, however, we were not informed of any departure time for the return trip. He was a bit grumpy, moreover, and without Spanish skills we would have been swamped. Although we had German as a language when booking, we could not communicate in German or English. The return transport to the mainland was generally opaque. Although we got back to where we had left, we felt that this had been a matter of luck. The taxi then took us back to the hotel well.

Would NOT Recommend - This tour was sold as a Whale Watching Tour, however, we only spent 40 minutes in Whale watching and 4 &1/2 hours at the beach, this was very misleading. Also the tour giude named Papa George used profanity a couple of times, finally the group was very large aroumd 100 people, would not recommend this tour for people serious about doing whale watching !
