Trip to Sjahrisabz - Today I had a nice tour to Sharisabz. The tour was well organized and the guide knew a lot about the history of Emir Timur. It was nice talking with him and the drive was with a pleasant SUV.

Must do day tour from Samarkand - I had gone with Ahadjon to Shahrisabz. He was very friendly and drove well. He also stopped along the way when I wanted to take pictures. I had a wonderful experience with this travel company as they coordinated the tour well and were prompt with their replies.

Superb tour. Many thanks. - We had an excellent driver who was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide spoke excellent English and taught us a few words in Uzbek. It was a fascinating tour and a chance to enjoy the majesty of Timur's architectural vision and Uzbekistan's natural beauty.

A lovely day trip over the mountains - Excellent friendly driver and lovely knowledgeable local guide. Interesting history but a pity that the location was sanitised to create the park setting for the buildings.

Great off-beat experience of history through the mountains! - Very nice and relaxing tour! We drove through the mountains and got some pretty scenic views in the drive to Shahrisabz. The town was quaint and less crowded as not a lot of people go there but it was amazing to see the fort, mausoleums and statues with a helpful local guide. We also stopped for a delicious Tandoor lunch which was super enjoyable. Would definitely recommend booking this tour if you are looking to do something off-beat and unusual in Uzbekistan!

Superb excursion with driver and super friendly local guide - Superb excursion matching exactly the description. The driver was super friendly and we were able to communicate through the translator on the internet. He takes care of everything. On arrival there is a local guide. Mine was a super nice 18-year-old student. We were able to communicate in English. It explains the history of the different monuments. The whole is in a small well maintained garden park, very quiet. You will pay 3 tickets (3 monuments); 40,000 soum each (or less than 3 € each it's okay).Of course you can stop, take pictures. My guide was very friendly. The trip by car is 2 hours but it is very beautiful the course. You will see beautiful landscapes, lots of greenery also. We made a stop at a small popular restaurant (very very good) that had panoramic views. Excellent. Really it's an excursion to do

Good trip. - Good friendly service and driver. Very flexible and willing to help. Nice mountains on the way to Shahrisabz. The historic complex in Shahrisabz is well laid out, though the golf cart drivers possibly think they are in Ibiza, a tad loud. The museum of traditional music is across the road. Small, but the woman couldn't have been nicer explaining everything. They even had a live musician in the corner playing. Recommend to folk music lovers.

A stressless way to get over the mountains - Our driver was with us on time, he drove safely and had seatbelts out (v important on Uzbek roads). Our guide Mehroj had been waiting for us and started our tour. He was knowledgeable and shared stories about the area. We liked both of our guides very much. The area is beautiful and was a really nice day trip.

Nice Trip, but Overpriced - Hassan, the driver, really made the experience worthwhile. He speaks good English and enjoyed talking during the ride. On the way there, we stopped at three points: two for views and one roadside bazaar. The actual visit to the town was a bit lackluster. None of the entry fees are included, as stated in the itinerary, but they really should be included for the price paid. The tour guide was nice and flexible, allowing me to shop and visit as many stores as I wanted, but I can’t say that I learned as much as I wanted. The price of the tour for a solo person does not match the experience. Thank goodness that I enjoyed the drive with Hassan, and I am happy to have seen the town - but it is a bit too expensive for a solo traveler.

Nice drive but not much left to see. - If you have some time on hands it's a nice drive from Samarkand. However, unless you like a park (it's not as nice as the parks in Samarkand) and paying to go into shops not worth it, as they have knocked almost everything down, to build the park. For tourists there is a 30000 or 40000 entrance fee to what is left, after the grandeur of the monuments in Samarkand you will feel quite let down.
