Ark of Bukhara - The Ark-Citadel served as the residence of Bukhara khans. Recent excavations revealed that the citadel has been on this site since the 4th century BC. Over years of construction and destruction, a 20-meter high artificial hill was formed, with its upper layers built during the time of the last Bokharan emirs.
Lyabi Khauz - The architectural ensemble of Lyabi-Khauz consists of three large monumental buildings: Kukeldash Madrasah to the north, khanaka and Nodir Divan-begi to the west and east. The south was closed off by Trade Street. The center of old Bukhara’s large ensemble became a reservoir.
Magoki Attori Mosque - Located in the city’s center, the Magoki-Attori Mosque is an example of an urban mosque in a residential area.
Trading Domes - The trading domes of Bukhara form a massive complex with a hexagonal layout. Under its spherical dome, shops sell knives, jewelry, musical instruments, and various souvenirs.
