A solid tour of Samarkand - If I could give this a 4.5 that would be my real rating (the small quibbles are described - but none are deal-breakers). This was a strong guided tour at a very reasonable price. Elyor arrived slightly late, but he was polite with a strong knowledge of Samarkand and its history. He was also fine on giving me, a solo traveler, the full group tour (it did take less time than it would have in a group, but that is natural). Elyor's English is clear with a slight accent, infrequently but sometimes I had slight difficulty understanding him. The sites on the tour were fascinating and you got a good overview of Samarkand in half a day.

Wonderful guide, fascinating content, incredible value. - I was very fortunate to have Elyor as a guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and speaks good English. Incredible value and a very memorable experience, Elyor really made the sights come to life!

Worthwhile, enjoyable and informative - Elyor provided an excellent service , despite our somewhat tardy arrival at the rendezvous he was waiting patiently in -4°C temperature. We were then treated to an informative and fascinating 5 hour trip through the history of Samarkand as we visited the main sites of the City. Well worth the time spent, thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous! Don't miss the mountain and village day out ! - Elyor picked us up from Samarkand and drove us to the mountains. We saw an amazing Uzbekistan and were hosted by an incredibly kind and generous family in a far away village full of unforgettable memories. Elyor is university educated very fluent in English kind considerate smiley and courteous. Very politically and culturally informed - a great guide for the demanding tourist ! Our 5 year old loved him too. Highly recommended if you're in samarkand don't hesitate to meet with Elyor either for his city tours or his day excursions!

A must do in Samarkand!! - What an absolute gentleman Elyor is, this tour is incredible and great value for money although I think you could charge a little bit more given how much time and care is put into the tour. 5 stars, would recommend to everyone!

Samarkand Monuments Experience - Covered the major monuments and guide was knowledgeable and took great photos of my wife and I. Kind and caring guide. Only an additional 14 dollars each to enter some of the monuments over cost of tour. Well worth it. Would definitely encourage others to experience this tour service.

Highly knowledgable and very kind! - I booked Elyor after reading many postive reviews about him on TripAdvsior and other sites. The tour was 6 hours and we covered all the major sites and more. He was incredibly knowledgeable about history, culture, politics, and religion, and answered my many questions. He was very kind and friendly, and spoke excellent English. Highly recommended! Exceeded my expectations given the price.

Best way to discover Samarkand - Thank you Elior, we really enjoyed the tour, Samarkand is magnificent. Thanks to you we explored it really well and learned a lot about its history. You are a great guide !

Best guide ever - Adham was a super guide, too gentle and kind, he showed us too many places and took his time to explain things,he also took us beautiful pictures. I highly recommend him while visiting samarkand.
