It was a great day out.... - It was a great day out. We were collected in Buenos Aires exactly on time by our driver and taken to the town of San Antonio de Areco where our guide Veronica was waiting for us. She was excellent, spoke perfect English. She was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. She took us around the town and then we went to the Estancia about 15 mins away. It was a beautiful place. We went horse-riding and had the best Empanadas on arrival. We chatted with Veronica over lunch, which was an amazing BBQ. She was very interactive and we discussed a lot of topics around Gauchos and Argentina generally. We were then taken back to our house in BA by the driver. An incredible day out, very well organised and an amazing experience from all with Veronica really making it a special day.

Excelente dia con las gauchos - We had a great time with Facundo. He did an excellent job taking us around the town and explains us in detail about the town, the natives and the gauchos.Went for horseback riding to dancing with the locals. He took care of our food as we are vegetarian. We had an amazing time with him.

Delightful local guide to the world of the Gauchos - Our guide that day was Facundo Del Bianco. We enjoyed his company immensely and the trip to the estancia was delightful! The gauchos, the live music, the dancers, the horses and their trainers, and the yummy Empanadas were all top-notch. Facundo will take you to his own hometown on the way - a charming and beautiful place full of architectural history and delicious food (get yourself a “half-moon” pastry!). We’re very glad we got to experience such an interesting day in our South American travels👍🏻👍🏻

Lives in San Antonio de Areco, loves San Antonio de Areco. The Gaucho’s are amazing people. So friendly and inviting. The horsemanship - awe inspiring. Don’t miss it.

Seamless private tour experience - We got picked up in the hotel and the tour experience was as pleasant. We had three people and with the driver and tour guide, it was a little tight at one point in a sedan car. Otherwise, the lunch was delicious, the horse back riding was fun, and the singing and horse whisperer show were entertaining. The town is cute. The ride from the town to the ranch is a was a little bumpy because the road was unpaved. Facundo was informative, personable, and accommodating. Overall, it was a nice experience outside the city.

A great day out - It was lovely to walk around town and enjoy the peaceful streets and to see the the incredible work of the local artisans. The chocolate shop is worth a visit too. The atmosphere at the estancia is very relaxed and welcoming. We were able to sit in the shade of a tree and enjoy our drinks. The food was amazing and plentiful. We also enjoyed the post lunch singing, dancing and show of horsemanship. It was a great day out.

Just average in our opinion - The tour of San Antonio de Areco was very good and interesting. The food at the Estancia was excellent but that was about it. There was a very small horseback ride or carriage ride, about 10 minutes and about a 5 minute dance demonstration. Included was a 5 minute presentation by a horse whisperer. The lunch was about a 2 1/2 hour affair. No gaucho skills presentation. Overall pretty disappointing since we had been on a similar tour a few years ago. I would not repeat this tour.
