Well worth a visit - Had a wonderful wine tasting experience at El Grifo vineyard. It was very relaxed and informative incorporating a tour of the unique volcanic vineyards, grounds and museum, with some sampling in the outdoors and then a further tasting table inside with cheese and cake to compliment the wine with detailed explanation by our guide and expert. They have a stocked shop to make purchases and a wine bar which we also visited to further enjoy the day and our favourite samples. €25 taxi from puerto del Carmen to the vineyard. Presented with a wineglass from the vineyard for use during the trip and as a keepsake. Great day, great wines. Highly recommend this tour.

Enjoy a special enclave and unique wines - The museum, the vineyards, the atmosphere... second to none. We went with the family and had a very nice and interesting morning. To top it off, the tasting, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who explained everything with kindness. Highly recommended. They send to peninsula so they don't have to check in!

A great day ! - Very interesting tour and the day out was very enjoyable. Our guide Laura was fantastic and the choices of wine with the cheese were the perfect end. We tried unusual wines which were not all my usual taste but I appreciated them more when learning about their individual history and process.

Fabulous Birthday Present - We loved this tour. It was very informative and interactive. Lovely to walk out into the vineyard and see all the different stone protection through the ages, and to learn why the growing methods are changing. We tasted a lovely selection of wines, and we always find it fascinating to see how wines taste before and with food. Having the cheese and biscuits was, therefore, a great addition to the tasting experience.

Mid-August in the cellar! - Thanks to the bad weather and a mid-August holiday in which we had not planned anything special we chose the same morning to book the full tour in this beautiful cellar! The 12 o'clock tour was a success. Perfect time, weather that allowed us to enjoy the outdoor ride without suffering too much from the heat and to appreciate the alcoholic tasting. The guided tour was done in English, Charlie was super friendly and engaging. The tasting very satisfying with the possibility to taste 6 wines, 2 for a walk and 4 comfortably seated inside the room accompanied by different tastings of local cheeses. A discovery also goat cheese; very tasty. The tour to the library and the owners' house is also included with the full visit. An interesting and curious visit. A great experience that I recommend! In the cellar there is also a shop where you can buy wines or have them shipped directly to your home.
