• Arenal Canopy Adventure (Athica) - Embark on an incredible journey just a short 30-minute drive from La Fortuna at our zipline park, Arenal Canopy Adventure. Upon arrival, our skilled zipline guides will greet you, assist you with your gear, and conduct a safety briefing. Then, ascend to the first platform, standing at 25 meters (80 ft.) high, to start your adventure across 8 cables spanning 2 km (1.2 miles) of stunning rainforest.

This zipline course features 13 platforms, including 4 integrated into massive trees using a specialized anchor system that allows the trees to grow without harm. The cables vary in height from 20 m. (65 ft.) to 90 m. (300 ft.) and range from 70 m. (230 ft.) to 600 m. (1970 feet) in length. This setup enables you to reach speeds of up to 56 kph (35 mph)! Each cable offers unique dimensions and views. Soar over canyons, mountains, farmlands, and vibrant rainforests.

While the experience might seem a bit daring, rest assured that two expert guides will be present at each cable. One guide will securely attach you to the cable and monitor the safety of those waiting, while the other will assist with braking and disconnecting you upon reaching the platform. Furthermore, our cable and braking systems, along with our safety protocols, are regularly reviewed to ensure guest safety, allowing you to feel at ease and in control throughout the experience. Each platform offers stunning views of the tree canopies across various ecosystems and provides unique angles for capturing breathtaking photographs.
