Arenal Canopy Adventure (Athica) - This combo combines two adrenaline-filled Adventures into one thrilling tour. We will start with a challenging ATV ride through a private farm with amazing views of the Arenal Volcano, followed by the opportunity to fly through the trees at Arenal Canopy Adventure & Tarzan Swing.
After some safety instructions and a driving test, we will begin our ride on modern ATVs through mountainous terrain and prairies for approximately 28 km (17 miles) while taking in the breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano and the volcanic mountain range.
After we will head for an unforgettable adventure, flying through the trees. The ziplining adventure will allow you to admire the rainforest from a different angle while feeling the wind zip through your hair and the adrenaline running through your body. The 8-cable and 13-platform circuit includes cables up to 600 meters (1900 ft) long and up to 90 meters (300 ft) high. And if, after all of that, your body begs for even more adventure - you can try the Tarzan Swing. This feature was designed with the true adrenaline junkies in mind!

Canopy zip line and Tarzan swing - We did an amazing canopy tour with Tarzan swing that was a great start to our vacation in Costa Rica. Cannot recommend this highly enough. The guides were all fabulous and made the experience fun for our teens. This is a must do in CR.

Ziplining through the Rainforest - We only did the Ziplining!! The guides were terrific! It was the first time my husband and I had been ziplining and the guides were very patient. They also pointed out a Sloth and got pictures for me. They told us where to look to get a view of the river while we were gliding down the longest zipline. We had a blast!

The most amazing ATV ever. - The most amazing ATV experience ever, real mud, real action. David was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable of what he was doing. It was truly an adventure. We did it with Arenal Adventure and they are the best. The wash in the river was a plus. We have done this activity in other countries and this was by far the best we have ever done.

Fun! Great views! Exhilarating! - The guides were so funny, attentive and made sure we were having fun! Special thanks to our guides Ronald and Joel from Arenal canopy adventures and Jonathan and Oscar, our guides for the ATV tours! We really had such Ana amazing time!

A must do with the combo zipleline/ATV - Nice zipeline with great crew. ATV was so fun , like new and easy to drive

Top Experience - Wow! Such a great morning with these guys. They picked us up, bang on the time they said. We were first taken to the zip lining. The staff were all incredibly friendly and talked through all the info we needed for the day. They made us feel at ease getting strapped up for the zip line (and trust me, there were nerves!!) The experience itself was fantastic. 8 lines, all offering something different. You should deffo do the Tarzan swing when offered! We loved it. Then given water and fresh fruit, and offered photos and videos for a reasonable price.
We were then taken to the ATVs. Again, staff explained everything in great detail. We paid a bit more for the extra hour & I don’t regret it. The machines themselves were easy to drive and more than that, fun to drive. The views we had along the way were incredible! Particularly enjoyed the river we stopped off at first. When we got back, more water and fresh fruit before driven back to our home

Great experience with great guided - We really enjoyed the experience. Hola and Gerson made us feel safe while making the excursion very enjoyable. They are hard working and committed to what they do. I highly recommend zip lining with them in La Fortuna.

Great time on a Zipline and Guided ATV tour - Jacamar hired 2 different companies for this trip. The Zipline was through Athica and was very fun and efficiently run with spectacular views and very competent guides. Our family loved it.
The ATV tour was through Outback. It was an enjoyable time but you follow in a line with multiple guides. It rained the entire time which restricted views but it was still lots of fun. I expected more off road than we got, but we did go off road some. The best part was swimming in the river. Wear a bathing suit and expect to get wet.
Overall, jacamar did a good job of coordinating. I wish we had discussed pickup and drop off more clearly because we stayed in an Airbnb (not a hotel) and rented a car. It ended up working out just fine, and jacamar was very professional and friendly. I recommend being crystal clear on arrival departure times to avoid any stress.

Our experience - ATV guides were nice. The views were awesome! I felt like a few stops during the tour were stall tactics to decrease the amount of time they allowed us on the ATV.

Yeah. No - Atv is an out and back route and goes nowhere near the Arenal volcano. Book direct to save and use an Uber to get there
