• La Guaria - (20-minute ATV ride to La Guaria town)
  La Guaria is a delightful and scenic village located in the heart of the Costa Rican countryside. This quaint community provides an authentic glimpse into the region’s rural lifestyle. With its charming church and traditional pulpería (local store), La Guaria embodies the simplicity and warmth of local culture.

Enjoy a picturesque ATV ride along open paved roads as you explore and uncover this unique area.

• Río Arenal - (25 minutes to reach and enjoy the Arenal River)
  Upon reaching the Arenal River, guests can enjoy the refreshing breeze and find the perfect spot for stunning photos. For those interested, there’s also the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the clear waters.
• Original Arenal ATV - (30 minutes in the jungle)
  This segment takes participants into another private area of La Naciente, navigating thrilling muddy trails and rugged paths across the property. Riders will drive their ATVs under the rainforest canopy of La Fortuna, making this part of the journey particularly enjoyable and immersive.

Depending on the group’s interest, there is an option to stop for a volcanic mud experience, where natural mud is extracted from the river for a relaxing, spa-like moment that benefits the skin.

This concludes the tour before returning for transportation.

  Following the tour, a drop-off service is provided back to hotels in downtown La Fortuna and nearby areas.

Before embarking on the adventure, a comprehensive safety briefing is provided, followed by a brief practice session to ensure everyone is comfortable with the ATVs. The journey then continues onto the main trails of La Naciente, where more mud, twists, and adventurous sections await, all while being immersed in nature.

The next stop is the quaint village of La Guaria, where visitors can experience local life, see the church, and visit a traditional store (pulpería). The tour proceeds along open trails leading to the Arenal River (weather permitting), where there is an opportunity to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and savor a fresh fruit snack.

• The minimum age to drive an ATV is 14 years old. The minimum age for passengers is 5 years old, and they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• It is required to wear closed shoes for the activity and sunglasses are recommended.
• We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a change of clothes if needed.
• This is not a private activity; it is a group experience shared with other participants.
• The volcanic mud activity is an open, natural experience. The mud is extracted directly from the river and is not a spa service.
• Regular rain in La Fortuna is not a reason to cancel the tour, as it is part of the tropical rainforest experience.
• In case of thunderstorms, we will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled tour time, since they usually last between 15 and 30 minutes. If conditions do not improve after this period, the activity will be modified or canceled.
• For scheduled pick-ups, we kindly ask you to be ready at the agreed time. We can wait up to 5 minutes, and after that, the reservation will be marked as a no-show and the full amount will apply.

• To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we include a short practice ride before the tour. • The arrival at the river may be hindered by weather conditions, in which case this part will be skipped, and an alternative trail will be followed.
