Go to the parking lot of Mirador El Silencio, your guide and driver will be waiting for you on a white van, you can safely park your car for the day and we will take you to the activities on our van, once we finished we take you back to this place so you can drive back to your destination

Excellent guides and experiences - We went on two tours with RFE. One was on the hanging bridges with Mario and one was the volcano viewing hike with Francisco and Edgar. All three are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After the hanging bridges hike, we were treated to a lovely picnic by the river on their own property. Excellent all the way throug.

Amazing tour and tour guides. - This tour was fantastic. Our Fran and our driver Johan were the best! First off they specialize in small groups which is so beneficial as you have individual attention. Fran was so knowlegable about eveything from Costa Rican history to the smallest of critters in the rainforest. We got amazing pictures of the flora and fauna because he took pics on our phones with his telescope for us! Johan was eagle eyed and spotted a sloth while driving us and pulled over so we couod see it, amazing!! Best tour guides ever, will recommend to everyone!! Thank you for an incredible experience!

Hanging Bridges in Arenal National Park Offer Unique Views of the Rainforest - Shoutout to Oscar from Rain Forest Explorers for a fun tour of Arenal Volcano National Park on the hanging bridges. The tour was informative, and the bridges were very cool and sturdy. Yes, the bridges moved but there have guardrails that can be used to safely cross the ravines. The 15 bridges offer a unique view from above the rainforest.

Amazing tour! - Highly recommend! This was an phenomenal experience! Mario was our guide and was very knowledgeable and so kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our time and the day. It was raining quite a bit and that did not stop us from enjoying the day and making the most out of it. Mario was able to show us some animals in the trees that we wouldn’t have seen without him. He is so knowledgeable about every plant in the rainforest, it was incredible! We then got to experience a traditional Costa Rican lunch at their private restaurant which was also incredible! Really great experience, cannot recommend Mario enough.

Great Experience! - This was a very fun and engaging tour of the hanging bridges and Fortuna waterfall. Our guide was fantastic, and everyone was so nice. I can’t recommend this company enough!

Perfect tour and best guides for exploring the rain forest! - We all enjoyed this tour so much! The hike through the rainforest was beautiful and we saw so many cool animals! Sloths, monkeys, poison dart frogs, vipers, unique birds, plants, insects and more. Francisco was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture and all the floral and fauna of his country. Mario was a great driver/photographer and provided lots of insights as well! We also appreciated Andre who helped with our tour- everyone was so kind and accommodating. We felt bad for the other tours we saw because our guides were clearly superior :) I would recommend water shoes for the waterfall tour if you plan to go in the water- the rocks are very slippery and can be sharp! Lunch at their family ranch was one of our favorite meals of the trip. Overall, I’d highly recommend this tour!

Mau and Joel were amazing... - Mau and Joel were amazing and made our trip fantastic! Even in the pouring rain we had a great time. Saw all sorts of animals and had an amazing Costa Rican meal!!

Such a great experience! - This tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Mau was very knowledgeable and did such a great job explaining all of the wildlife and other interesting facts about Costa Rica. We have 2 children - ages 12 and 15 and they were so engaged with Mau and everything he had to share (if you have teenager, you know this is not always easy to do). Our driver Johan and Mau went out of there way to stop along our trip to point out wildlife they spotted in trees along the road. After our tour, we stopped for lunch at the most amazing little place. The food was some of the best we had on our trip!
I would highly recommend this tour and our guides to anyone wanting a fantastic experience getting to know fun facts about Costa Rica.

Exploring and Learning about the Rain Forest - As a tour guide, Carlos was a well-trained, well-educated, teacher. We immediately picked up on his knowledge and love of the environment and his enthusiasm to share that with us! Carlos taught us about the plants and animals of this ecosystem, as well as the needs and plans of the people of Costa Rica to preserve this rich environment. He reviewed safety rules and how all of us could receive the best tour experience. Carlos was very observant in finding fascinating birds, frogs, and other wildlife along the trail. Carlos brought along special equipment, which allowed us to get beautiful close-up pictures! We experienced a wonderful hike through the rainforest! Crossing the hanging bridges was exhilarating!! We were treated to fresh pineapple as a snack on the way to The Fortuna Waterfall, which was well worth the 500+ steps down to witness the rushing waterfall and the cool pool, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Coming back up was not as challenging as we thought! Lunch was also provided by a farm-to-table restaurant, only open to these tours. We highly recommend Carlos!!

Too fast - Overall very good but felt rushed. Would have liked to look for more nature and more pics. The tour only included my son and I. Not sure what they would have done if someone couldn’t keep up.
