Perfect way to start our trip! - Simply put…Amazing. All our guides were kind, energetic and made you feel comfortable and safe. We started the day with rappelling. They show you how to do it before you go out, my wife and I have done it before, but it was good to get a refresher. We were held down for separate waterfalls with a short track through the river between stops. There were several opportunities for pictures with the guides pointing out interesting wildlife, and talking about the beauty of Costa Rica along the way. Then we headed to a different location 40 minutes away to wrap. My wife was very nervous as she has not done this before, I had done it once again our guide guides, Jorge specifically, made it feel totally safe and comfortable. It was so exciting. We hit rapids right away got stuck a couple of times because of the low water, but that was OK. He got us going again and kayaks in front of us guided us along making sure we had exciting times but we’re also safe. One of the photographers in a kayak took several great pictures and a couple of videos that they can sell to you for just $20. We normally don’t purchase things like this, but he went above and beyond to get them and they were really good so we bought them. All in all this trip was five stars, exhilarating, and exciting and a great way to see the beautiful country of Costa Rica and learn about it from the locals to make their living doing these guys, we recommended it to several different people at our hotel when we got back. Would definitely do this again!

So much fun!!! - Both experiences were absolutely fantastic but I really want to just highlight our tour guide during rafting, Aurelio, who was one of the best guides we have met. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to show us the animals, teach us about the plants, all while making sure we have the most fun while rafting. Highly recommend going with him! Overall, the combo tour was super organized and just a 10/10 experience.

Awesome Adventure - Wow!!! The waterfall rappelling was exhilarating and the experience was much more than expected. The guides were wonderful and knew how to create an experience that will be talked about for years to come. The white water rafting was awesome. Our guide, Marco, made the trip the best. He knew how to handle the boat well and how to keep us safe while having an experience of a lifetime.

Finding Fortune in La Fortuna Costa Rica - The activities exceeded our expectations at every level. All staff members were amazing, from pick up to drop off and in between. The canyoning and white water with this company is a must do. So much fun and laughter , not to mention delicious authentic cuisine! Our guide was Marco and he was simply amazing. I highly recommend this combo!

Must Do!!! - Had an incredible time canyoning and white water rafting. The whole experience was very organized from start to finish and the photo package was reasonably priced. The photos were incredible and I am leaving with so many memories. I can’t wait to book them again next time I visit!!

The best adventure tour! - We did the Mambo Combo tour; a morning of canyoning and an afternoon of white water rafting. The whole crew was amazing, especially Dario, Marco, and Emmanuel! We had an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend! Safe, professional, and a whole lot of fun!

Pura Vida - From start to finish, we felt safe and taken care of. One of us was skeptical of canyoning and the other of rafting but we were both made to feel comfortable every step of the way. All of the guides were very friendly and explained each activity thoroughly. The food provided was delicious and well-timed. We had an absolute blast and are so glad we took the leap to try this tour. Pura Vida!

Memorable times with memorable guides! - This experience was so amazing! It was 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We did the canyoning first thing in the morning and although rainy and a little cold, the adrenaline kicked in and we all had a blast. The trek back up to the starting place was long and a hike so be ready for lots of cardio! For the water rafting, we were fortunate to have two amazing guides lead our rafts...Emmanuel and Raul were passionate about their job, knowledgeable about their country and radiated happiness! We recommend these adventures whole heartedly with Desafio.

So much fun! - The crew was so helpful and kind. The adventure was so much fun!we rappelled down some very high waterfalls, climbed over boulders and had a small plunge into the water.
