Into the Depths of Venado Caves

As a seasoned surfer, I’ve spent countless hours riding the waves and exploring the sun-drenched beaches of Central America. But every now and then, I crave an adventure that takes me away from the ocean’s embrace and into the heart of the earth. That’s how I found myself in San Carlos, ready to embark on the Venado Caves Tour.

The day began with a comfortable ride in a clean, air-conditioned van driven by Mario from Ecoterra. As we cruised through the lush Costa Rican landscape, Mario shared fascinating insights about the local flora and fauna, setting the stage for the subterranean adventure that awaited us.
