Excellent Visit - We did the self-guided trail hike. Lovely trail. We saw many monkeys, a sloth, lots of coatis and a large number of bird species. David Francisco was the host manning the station. He was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We had great conversations. My wife and I loved talking to him. Outstanding customer service. We stayed for almost 3 hours. This activity exceeded our expectations. David was a big reason why.

Self guided walk - Very nice place, you can see many animals and the people of the place are very friendly. They gave us coffee and cassava cakes at the end of the tour

One to visit! - I have done most of the trails around La Fortuna and wanted somethibg different as whilst most come for the sloths, I genuinely prefer the monkeys It was a little further out than I anticipated but not too far and Uber was fine in both directions I arrived later than I planned and you can't predict nature but whilst we heard howlers in the distance, we saw cappuchins, a three toed sloth and her newly born baby, a group of coatis and many birds and butterflies Fortunately for me, as I seem to attract them, no snakes. I didn't spot a caiman but by Uber driver saw a turtle as we were leaving It is lesser known than the other trails as it is fairly new, so you may have the trail to yourself A guide helps but the staff are so friendly and the owner even made us fresh juice and yuca snacks, I also has my favourite, pipa fria!

So nice. - We visited the Monkey Farm today on the recommendation of our host, and it was perfect for anyone who loves seeing monkeys. Right at the start we saw lots of monkeys and they were super curious. So much fun! You can walk a route there, and it took us about 1.5 hours. We also saw toucans, caimans and the blue jeans frog. The man who works there was incredibly kind. He made a yucca torta for us with fresh naranjilla juice that he had just picked from the garden. He also prepared fresh coconuts for us. And we were the only people there, which made the experience even more special. A really lovely place to visit in La Fortuna.
