Exhilarating zipline - The tram we take up was the food coke it was going to be extraordinary. We enjoyed both of guide and our small group of various travelers. This was my most exhilarating experience with ziplines . The mist made at last one of their 8 lines down the slope crazy good. The guides were very informative , chatty, and helped a great deal.

Rainy and poor visibility but so worth it - On a truly monsoon like day with poor visibility and torrential rain we ventured upwards to the sky tram thinking it wouldn’t happen. We were delayed by 30 mins to allow the rain to clear and we were given a complimentary hot drink whilst we waited. The guides were brilliant so knowledgeable and the safety process were clear and we felt confident with them. It was 7 zip lines varying in length and speed but all were truly fabulous despite poor visibility and sometimes a lot of rain into your face!! The guides were superb at keeping the fun going despite starting to feel a little cold come the end. I would love to have done this in better weather but still we had an amazing experience and glad it was safe for us to go ahead.

A Fantastic Family Experience - Fantastic Adventure, wonderful guides! They make you feel safe and fully supported while you experience zip-lining through the beautiful landscape. Mirasel was a wonderful guide on our hike before zip lining.

Great personnel - Huge kudos to our guides, who battled shifting weather and mechanical challenges on a couple of the lines while smiling all the while. The ziplines are huge and offer great views of the valley. Much love to our guide Juan de Dios, who my kids loved and are still quoting at home.

Unbelievable views and a safety conscious crew - The zip lines were so well run and safety is clearly their top priority. We felt like we were in good hands, and we had so much fun. These were expansive zip lines and the views were incredible. There were children, adults, and retirees alike enjoying them. We didn't do the GoPro or buy any pictures, and we didn't feel pressured to do so, which was really nice. My husband who is terrified of heights had a blast despite being too scared to look down :) The restaurant there has a fantastic view of Arenal, was quite reasonably priced, and the food was good.

Incredible views ziplining above Lake Arenal - We absolutely loved the zip lining at Sky Adventures Arenal. The setting, between the Volcano and Lake Arenal and riding high above the forest, is stunning! The guides are so friendly and fun, yet extremely safety conscious. They rode with our kids who were 8 and 10 as they were too light on their own. This really helped to set me and my daughter at ease, as well as the auto breaking system. Highly recommend.

Zipline even for beginners - Had a great time. If you're not sure about ziplining (my second time), although high and some lines long, it was not too scary. the staff asked whether I wanted to do another practice at the breaking motion (if you are going too fast at the end, not a lever and easy to do) even though I had just done the introduction and practice. This gear clipped you closer to the line so it didn't strain my shoulders. You get into position (no stepping off of a platform) and I could feel secure (tucked into a ball) then they send you off. We wore gloves, but we didn't have to use a manual hand brake rather to hold onto the handles. If you already love ziplining, you'll love the long zipline rides and the views. If you're a newbie and the heights bother you, focus on the end point and not how high you are. After several lines we were at a platform where you basically could take a short break with a couple of pictures and a free lemonade-type drink. Definitely needed the hydration at that point. Highly recommend it!

Poor communication - tour cancelled due to maintenance - Booked the sky tram and sky trek zip line tour 2 days before we were supposed to go and got a booking confirmation. I never received any information about pick up time from our hotel so I messaged Destination Services more than 24 hours ahead and received no response. I then had to call and message them numerous times to get any information. Finally 12 hours before our tour the next morning, the tour operator sent a one line message saying the tour is under maintenance and it cannot operate. No response about my request for a full refund either! I had to contact Viator for a refund and they made it right. I would steer clear of this company - poor communication and canceling a tour less than 12 hours before is terrible for international travelers with limited time.
