We loved the tour and... - We loved the tour and were pleased that it explored a different part of the lake areas and national park. The scenery was very beautiful, especially around Traful. The day went very quickly and there was plenty of time to explore on your own in Traful and Angostura. We thought Martin, our guide, was exceptional - friendly, considerate, explained everything in detail and very knowledgeable. After enjoying may day tours around the world Martin is up there with the best in our opinion. He and Francisco make a terrific team.

STUNNING VISUALS! - We were enchanted with the Cruce that makes the crossing of the Andes Lakes. We went in the direction of Puerto Varas to Bariloche, and we opted for 1 day. You have a 2-day option, and you sleep in Peulla. Our tour was very cool from 8h to 18h more or less, after that it begins to give a tiredness... We arrived at Bariloche at 21.30. Tired, but we would do it again. We passed through volcanoes full of snow, beautiful waterfalls, the beautiful lakes, that is, very well worth it.

Beautiful Traverse - It is the best way to get from Bariloche in Argentina to Puerto Varas in Chile. The crossing is a walk. Beautiful landscapes for an entire day. What is not worth it is to stop in the middle, in Peulla to spend the night and make the crossing in two days. In reality it is a matter of taste and lifestyle, but there are only 2 hotels (from the same owner) and nothing but walks around the hotels. You cross the border and have to immigrate. The divisa area, at the top of the Cordillera, almost always snowy is very beautiful.

Stunning scenery and very good Service - I had the opportunity to do it back and forth from Bariloche and it is impressive the landscapes that are contemplated. The boats are in very good condition, as are the buses what to take. The flawless guides in both countries. They have a very neat logistics regarding luggage and border passes, I recommend staying overnight in Peulla as there are many things to do from there

Disappointment in Villa Traful - We returned to Villa Traful after 19 years. We met her when we spent several days there. It was a small, wild, charming town. It had a picturesque little pier. The shoreline of the lake was clear along the most central part. We returned this summer as visitors, after doing the 7 lakes route and the DISAPPOINTMENT WAS HUGE. We saw a jetty I didn't have, horrible! Supine bad taste that usually characterizes the new rich who own such boats. Another construction on the shore of the lake that also covers the view and contemplative capacity of walkers. A branch of the Neuquin bank built with veneer and glass glued to the wooden church that is beautiful marking a clash of constructive styles that damages the postcard. Anyway. What used to be a lovely walk over the lakeside in the central part is now a stretch you want to leave behind quickly. Unfortunately those who arrive without their own vehicle and have no possibility of moving to more secluded and lonely places have to circulate through that radius that instead of parchment or embellishing it with rose bushes, wooden benches, decks, lanterns, etc. with materials according to the natural environment, they have shaved it with total lack of design and good taste. Too bad. It really depressed me to see that beautiful town going into a housing estate that doesn't favor it at all.

Worst guided tour ever experienced by Turisur (they are the only one operation the tour so always them) - They are dishonest. 9 hours is not possible - it takes between 11 and 13 hours (depending on traffic). Not a max of 2 suitcases per person (it is only one and they wanted extra payment for that). Not 50 ARS to be paid in cash at the harbour but 500 ARS - a you are laving Argentina you will usually not want to have too many Argentina Pesos with you. Not a group of max ten people, hardly English, only guides on busses (3 different ones). No information on transfer location between busses and ferries. First time the guide didn't even want to inform us what to do and where to go. She just pointed and said we should walk up the street. When she arrived to place we guess would be the right one, she did not even say anything but simply left the grouped and did not show up before we all was in the busses that came. The boat ride - that was the most interesting had hardly any guide and very little in English. The total is 1 hour + 30 min. + 1 hour = 2½ hour of boat ride and the rest in busses or waiting. They stop where you can have brunch (on the Chile side) and it is so silly expensive and not very good - but being the only place you can get anything from you feel you need to get something to eat.. The second guide (on bus) was great - he made it a little fun and had some good stories about the places we drove by. The last one didn't really like his job very much... You buy ticket included luggage from Bariloche to Puerto Varas - but to get on the last bus you need to carry you luggage yourself and that was not a very good place for that (we were two people and had four we had to bring to the bus). No optional stop at Saltos de Petrohué - no such offer. That was yet a lie. When we fist wanted to buy the tickets we went to Turisur. The service at their office was the most rude and stupid service we ever have had in Argentina. We ended up buying it only but as it turned out it was stil Turisur that had the trip even if it had other names on the tour description. Turisur is just not service minded and the girl at the office was so rude we was a little chocked to be honest. After we have paid the none-refundable tickets we wrote for some clarifications and again it was very rude, dishonest and not at all helpful. It made the preparation for us to leave Argentina a very stressful one. The tour is not worth it - take a trip to see the Frias Lake (it is very small) and you will not miss anything. And then get to Chile in another way.

No trip and no refund - Pretty gutted. My wife and I booked this trip believing it to be a one day tour as advertised. It's not a return trip. We didn't have a hotel booked in Chile and wouldn't have been able to pay again to come back. So had to decline to get on the bus. We contacted the Gray Line emergency number who just told us to take the matter up with tripadvisor (who don't offer any support). No refund and no offer of an alternative day tour.
