Great Trip - Spectacular, Jose and Leo were great. The horses were well trained, but not barn sour. The terrain was spectacular and exciting enough for a seasoned rider while the horses made it enjoyable even for the beginner rider. The food was also spectacular.

Incredible 3 day expedition - Our 3 day expedition was the highlight of our trip to Argentina - it was absolutely unforgettable. The horses were phenomenal - so well trained and sure footed on the terrain. José and his team are wonderful hosts, we absolutely loved the food (the best we had throughout our month here!!) and they made sure everyone was safe and comfortable at all times. From sleeping under the stars, trekking through the Andes, crossing rivers and chatting away at night with great conversation and company, it was perfect from start to finish. A real great reset in nature and an opportunity to see fantastic horsemen at work. I can't recommend enough!

Highly recommended by a solo traveler woman - Jose, my tour guide, was one of the most wonderful and educated people I’ve ever met. The connection with nature that I experienced was exactly what I was looking for, the food was great and the attention was impeccable. The days I spent here could be the best days of my life. As a female solo traveler it was very important for me to feel comfortable at all times and I felt like I was with family all along. I highly recommend this tour, it was life changing.

Experience the Andes in a simple and unforgettable way - If you want to experience the Andes in a pure and adventurous way, this trip is the one for you. You will ride over mountains, see different landscapes, eat delicious food next to a bonfire, sleep under the milky way and spend a lot of time away from civilization. José and Leandro made us feel comfortable from the first moment and shared a lot of knowledge about horses and the life in the Andes. They are fun people but still will give you your space to enjoy the slow rythm and calmness of nature. Don't miss this opportunity!

Surpassed Expectations - We booked this tour hoping for a not-super-touristy, authentic experience and it was even better than we could’ve imagined. We were guided by the owner or the ranch himself, who shared his passion for the land and his family’s history. We were also lucky to be joined by his young son who was a fantastic guide, teacher of all things horses, and a great laugh. We were spoiled with the food, including fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast, wine chilled in the creek at every meal, and an incredible asado the last night. Jose works very hard to ensure a great experience and tailored the trip to what we were looking for, we got many hours of riding in incredible scenery. Even Claudia, the woman who drove us from Mendoza and back, was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Go for it! - Jose, his family and community are a group of kind, caring and passionate individuals and you can go on this expedition without a single doubt. I had questions beforehand, and Jose, even though the signal is very low in the ranch, was fast, responsive and reassuring. Indeed, there is not much information about the journey, but it is because the final expedition is decided according to your riding experience and expectations. During the trip, you feel like you are in first class even though you are in the middle of nature and the Andes. Fresh orange juices, scrambled eggs over the fire after a night under the stars, what else is there to say ? Thank you so much to Jose, Esteban and their family for this amazing experience. If I’m back, I will 100% call you and organize something longer than three days, it’s only the beginning :)

Expect this trip NOT to go ahead - I had the same experience as other travellers. After booking, I received a confirmation, but when I reached out with follow-up questions, there was no response. I called, texted, and emailed multiple times without hearing back. In my case, the cancellation only came a few days before the scheduled start date. Fortunately, I had enough time to adjust my plans, but that may not be the case for others. I genuinely don’t understand why this operator continues to be allowed on the platform given the repeated communication issues reported by travellers.

Unreliable - I booked this trip and planned my visit to Mendoza around it. Six days prior to departure I asked the operator some simple questions. I waited . . . and waited. I never got a response. I had Viator try. They never got a response. I ended up having to cancel and pivot to filling the time with other activities. If I were you, I would NOT trust these people. If you’re still tempted, go back and look at the details. Where do they go? Where will you sleep? How will you bathe? Nothing.

AVOID THESE GUYS! - These guys confirmed my trip a couple of times leading up to the date, which I booked months in advance then 12 hours before they sent a notice that it has been cancelled without any reason, and have not been responding to me for a few days or Viator. Not weather related or anything (it's perfect weather). Extremely unprofessional and now I'm left scrambling to figure out hotels and everything back in Mendoza during the busy season. Insane! Don't plan your trip around these guys!

Canceled my booking - I reached out to the operator to confirm my dates would work before booking 2 months in advance. About a week before my trip the operator asked if I could change the dates. I was unfortunately not able to and then a day or two before my booking it was canceled by the operator. I received a refund no problem, but was disappointed as this trip was the reason I booked tickets to Mendoza from Buenos Aires. Operator did suggest another contact I could reach out to in order to book a different horseback riding experience, but I sought out another company on my own. I did pass by Rancho el Rosario during my trip and it looked beautiful.
