Excellent tour - Excellent tour, beautiful view. And our guide, Mr. Mauricio, was very patient with us and our girls. We were also able to take our puppies and he was always looking out for everyone.

Hiking near San Cristobal de las Casas - A very enjoyable hike in the high elevation forest just outside of San Cristobal de las Casas with a very enjoyable guide, Luis of Jaguar Adventures. He is very knowledgeable and speaks English very well although we tried to use our meager Spanish as much as possible. Some steep sections. Nice closeup views of bromeliads.

World class - The agency “Jaguar Adventours” is really highly recommended. As an alternative to all bus tours, it offers a wide variety of tours by bike, mountain bike or trekking. It is advisable to visit in person to see all tours, the store is easy to find. During our trekking we got insights into the nearby nature reserves, discovered caves, beautiful landscapes and learned many impressions about the culture and life around San Cristobal and beyond in conversation with Joshua. Joshua was absolutely world class!! We would do a tour again immediately!

Amazing hike through the woods with caves as a bonus - I went on this tour with a friend and the hiking was amazing. We first took a hike to the Dragon cave, which was relatively steep, but not incredibly difficult, and walked around inside the cave. Our guide was very friendly, spoke English very well, and kept conversation going. He knew a lot about the area and it was very informative. After the Dragon cave, we went down the other side of the cliff to another set of caves that looked to be much more established with stairs and railings. The dragon cave was my favorite of the two. I think the hike was roughly 7 km total. At the end, there is a place to buy snacks and refreshments if you are hungry. I would definitely recommend and I hope to come back and visit again soon!!

Fun biking and hiking in preserve with cave in San Cristobal - Biked to San Cristobal preserve and hiked to a beautiful cave with Josua, who was informative and lovely . An easy, fun bike ride to a lovely preserve, a great active morning for our moderately active family with a young teen son. Will be happy to use this agency again, they are starting several night bike trips to attractions further south starting next winter.

Costumer service failure! - They left me overwhelmed, didn't contact me to confirm and give me details of the trip. They blamed TripAdvisor. They told me a liar in other words. When I made him a copy and paste of the details of the pick up site... which clearly stated that I would be picked up at the hotel according to TripAdvisor where I paid for the Jaguar adventurous tour. Then they wrote to me and they offered me a bike...and that I wouldn’t lose the day...that’s funny! Your responsibility is to have a good costumer service and do your job... you should remove your TripAdvisor promotion because you are making it look bad... I no longer use TripAdvisor better I make my reservations by expedition. I was the one who communicated with them on the day of the tour because it was weird that in an hour they had not picked him up.

Not recommended - I do not recommend this company. I arranged with them over WhatsApp a hike and cave exploration. We were supposed to meet at their office in San Cristobal at 9:00. We waited until 9:40, but they did not show up. It was very disappointing, as we were in San Cristóbal for a short time, and their lack of commitment ruined our schedule. I understand that misunderstandings and emergencies happen. But in this case, they did not care to reply to my texts and voice messages. This is highly unprofessional.
